  1. To all of the skydiving family at Cross Keys...My Love and Prayers are with you and the families involved in this tragic accident. Scott Saluga D-16515 Removed from incidents. Please post Condolences to Bonfire. t I read somewhere to learn is to remember and I've learned we all forgot
  2. Mouth, I do a lot of tandem and 4-way video. I use the Sony .5 or .6 top mounted on my FTP. It works great and you can get them at Best Buy for $30usd. I read somewhere to learn is to remember and I've learned we all forgot
  3. Hey Turbo, Henry, the Gator driver, is doing fine last I heard. He is a little scraped up and sore but I hear that he will be fine. Thanks for thinking of him. FHL, Scott I read somewhere to learn is to remember and I've learned we all forgot
  4. Lew....we missed you. Had great weather this year, the parties were awesome and the skydives were just KICKASS!!! All of us at Richmond hope to see you soon. FHL, Scott I read somewhere to learn is to remember and I've learned we all forgot
  5. Tracy...Look on the side of the camera where the hand strap is. There should be a reset button there. Stick a paper clip in it or something to reset it and see if that helps. Mind you, I've never had to reset a camera this way before but if it could save you the $400 service to send it in then it might be worth a shot. 6. I do not have the 105 but have the pc-120. I was using the Velocity side mount helmet from Skydance and I cut the handmount off of mine. The little door that covers the lanc port, etc., like previously stated, can be bent enough without breaking that it can stay on. 7. Damn Jimmy! Sorry to hear about your camera "fatality". I'm feelin' for ya man. So what camera is going to replace it?? A shiney new TRV-950, HC1000 or a DSR-PD10?
  8. I agree with Jimmy! I always move to the middle, wave off and pull. I, like Jimmy, was taught to wave before I pull so I do. I feel silly sometimes when I know I'm the only one out there but I just always seem to do it. Scott I read somewhere to learn is to remember and I've learned we all forgot
  9. I'm a firm believer in B & H Photo. www.bhphoto.com. I've never had a problem with them. I've bought my PC120, DSR-PD150 and numerous accessories through them and have always been pleased. I see that DBuys has a deal with the Digi-Rebel for $1056..you get the camera body, 18-55mm lens and a 512mb cf card plus some useless extras. B&H has the same kit for $1059 with a $30 mail-in rebate but it comes with a 1gig Lexar high speed cf card instead of the 512. 10. Manbird and hkf, The problem you have described is not just related to the Katana! I have a Crossfire2 119 @ 1.9 that will do the same thing. My biggest tip to you would be for sure to check the tail deflection when your pulling front riser. I had my Crossfire2 set at factory settings when I first got it and it was about 2inches too short. I lengthened them up and viola the buffeting and nose "roll under" went away. I still can make it do it but I choose not to. Like it was said in previous posts...It is the position of the riser not pressure that you need to look at. Hope this helps. Scott ps. Lew...we miss you!! 12. I also agree with both of these suggestions. Scott I read somewhere to learn is to remember and I've learned we all forgot
  13. Guess I'll add myself to the list since I only live 40 minutes away and I'll be there! Scott I read somewhere to learn is to remember and I've learned we all forgot
  14. Y'all got some nice lookin' TyeDye rigs out there but I didn't see any Vector 3's in this post so I'd thought I'd post mine... Scott I read somewhere to learn is to remember and I've learned we all forgot
