Rondo, It's great to hear from the guy who taught me how to pack a Stratostar & put out static liners! The next Old Friends Reunion of NorCal skydivers will be held in Sept. or Oct. of 2012 at the Italian Benevolent Society Picnic Grounds in Sutter Creek. Perry Stevens has a committee planning it, and more information will be published later on. The Bob Norman Memorial will be held on Sunday, March 20 from Noon unitil 3:00p.m. at Bay Area Skydiving on the Byron Airport. Fittingly enough, this is half way between the old Antioch and Livermore drop zones, where Little Bob flew many a load. Bring your "Elevator One" stories. The event has a facebook page titled "Memorial for Bob Norman"

Bob started jumping at Antioch around 1979 or 80. His first jump was my first load as a jumpmaster. A truly nice guy! He was both a skydiver and a scuba diver. Also some glider jumps in southern California. Blue skies, Bob!
