  2. They probably spotted Militia elements moving into position. They probably realized it's easier to deal with an "angry mob" when it has to leave to go back to work on Monday. They're not a Mob, & will gladly miss a day of work ...

  4. BILLVON Nice of you to "edit" my post and completely gut out the point I was trying to make about our society being one of "watchers" instead of "helpers". I said exactly nothing about a principal using a gun, the point was that the people like myself that carry seem to be the only people with the mentality to protect and help rather than stand by. So is this how you moderate a forum? Edit people's responses to make them say what YOU want them to say? Yep. That's BV's MO. A number of the other Mods know his games, & don't respect him because of it. No Worries. He'll soon get tired of editing your content, & just ban you . His way of NOT contributing ... I see the point of your original post, & it's a valid one.
  5. NFW... I call BS. This April Fool's joke was much better, & more realistic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89VxRIa9Azk
  6. The US contribution to breaking the 1917 U-Boat blockade was insignificant. The main US Navy contribution was assisting the allied blockade of Germany, not dealing with U-Boats. You should read some real history instead of believing the Hollywood movie version. I bet you still believe that U-571 is a documentary. I have read a fair amount of books on the history, from both sides of the conflicts. I disagree w/your opinion. Don't be silly. Mat McConaughey is far too young to have served in WW2...
  7. I beg to differ. Britain was less than two weeks shy of being starved out by U-Boats during WW1, at one point. Without strong American support, they also would never have made it through WW2.
  8. There was no hissy fit, & my BP is just fine, Thank You. You pulled a spineless Troll, & didn't have the stones to own it. I'm done w/you two clowns. You're not worth anymore time.
  9. You think they're a couple of Alcoholics, too ? You have a point, there. Many of the problems in this country stem from monied POS interests amending The Constitution. I subscribe to the view that we need to go back to what worked. IMHO, you need to revere those documents more. Wendy P.
  10. I see a country that will knock yours down in a fight. Hell - we saved your ass at least once . . . We saved their Butts TWICE in the last century, not counting Cold War activities. Friends who travel far more than I tell me that of all the European nations, only Holland still remembers & honors what we did for them. Nice people, the Dutch. I'd love to visit, sometime.
  11. You said it wasn't a Troll. I provided the original post. Besides, y'all look alike to us . = Don't self-aggrandize. Certainly. You weren't a US Citizen in the past, & you aren't one, now. Keep your political critiques to your own country. If I were to broach the subject of some sensitive political nature concerning Britain, or any other country. I would do so cautiously, & w/an extra helping of respect. Otherwise, my innocent query might be construed as being insulting. You DO still speak some version of English over there, right? Other than one slang reference, I've typed clearly worded replies. You've no business critically opining on my country.
  12. I'm sorry that happened to you .
  13. Looks like a clear taunt to me. Most People who want to start a serious discourse on something, won't begin w/a "". It was a Troll. Not having the stones to own it, makes it a spineless Troll... Yes, you two are. Inferring that a sacrosanct document isn't worth the paper it's written on, is exactly that. You want to look for fallacies, & stir a political pot? Fine. Stick to your own Country's woes. Britain has plenty of its own troubles. You've no business opining on ours. Don't tute your horns. It wasn't the most important event in this county's history. It is most definitely a proud part of our shared cultural identity, though, & rightly so. You've moved on, Jakee? Good for you. Then, kindly refrain from sticking your two pence where they don't belong.
  14. Then, why are you taking shots at my country, & not your own? Wanna find trouble in paradise? You've got plenty of your own. You don't care a fig about America? OK. Then look out your window, & criticize your own backyard.
  15. And that's two. Any more Americans here want to show that they don't know the difference between the Declaration of Independance and the US Constitution? 04/19/1775. I know my history, Limey. Then why are you talking about the Revolution and the Declaration in a thread about the Constitution? Because that's where it started, & the Troll is British.
  16. We the People... broke the British yoke, & formed a far better country. A Country that eventually became a superpower, & rose to its ideals for the better part of 200 years. Though, the US certainly has some housecleaning to do, now. It's been almost a full 239 years since the FU heard round the world. Are some of our British friends still feeling penis envy, all these years later? Let's not argue, boys. We can go have lunch at a nice German restaurant ... Well, some of those people were actually only 3/5 of a person, IIRC, and they didn't get to have any say whatsoever in the "perfection" of the union. The wealthy landowners did, of course, manage to avoid having to pay for the French and Indian War that protected their holdings. I never said it happened all at once.

  18. No, my cited facts were exactly the point. You put out an obvious troll. You got called on it. Truth hurts, huh??

  20. Wipe that shit-eating grin off your face, Mister. Skydiving is serious business ...
  21. No energy left tonight to watch the entire vid, or to look online. Wouldn't a Meteorite still be smoking as it fell through the atmosphere?? Others have all been smoking in video footage.
  22. [Quote] And fact checking you isn't my job. Unsupported claims get ignored or mocked, particularly when said persons have a posting history. Blah, blah, blah... Not my fault you're not bright enough to see the ACA for what it is. The majority of America already does. Carp on...
  23. Here is some more Just for you John But then, I am sure you will find another way to twist your responce into some kind of insult http://www.nytimes.com/2013/11/04/business/under-health-care-act-millions-eligible-for-free-policies.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0 Hey, gotta take care of those TROGs ...
