  1. nothing as of yesterday, kev. i was out briefly to make sure phantom didn't make it back to the dz to do his anniversary jump (35 yrs of skydiving, btw). i did see lopez's new orifice, though. god bless ribs. chuckie b, if i had been around longer i would've paid you guys a visit to harrass you. but i knew if i went, i wouldn't have wanted to leave so soon. love the monkeys. looooooooove the monkeys. p.s. kev, you are sooooooo bad.
  2. god i can't believe i'm doing this. i can remember watching mid-atlantic championship wrestling. i actually went to a wrestling match as a kid and remember crying because my favorite - ricky steamboat - was "bleeding from his head" because ric flair kicked his ass. hell, i was in the 5th grade. i had no idea that shit was fake...and i had a crush on rikki steamboat. might've been those almond eyes. dude i was seriously upset about that. remember barron von roski (sp?) he was such a mean mean man. wahoo mcdaniel was cool. amazing how real it all seems when you're a kid...
  3. funny you should mention canopy naming. rickster was petting his two girls (pr of velos) yesterday on the packing table getting them prepped for a reline. he said they have been soooooo good to him so he has to treat them equally as nice. it was so cute to watch. :) mine is called jedei. cya tomorrow.
  4. dude, you're lucky you got anything other than duct tape if you went to pasco county hospital. glad you're okay. make sure phantom saves me one of those "stab your local m***can, it's cinco de mayo" shirts.

    Zhills Situation

    take up arms? in zhills?
  6. i think you're ALL a bunch of fucking trouble makers and should really reconsider how you conduct yourselves in public.
  7. i KNEW she was satan reincarnate!! i'll most likely see you f-ing monkeys tonight or tomorrow.
  8. http://www.bentprop.org/pm9/pr_docs/21-mar-18.htm if you haven't already, check out the pics from bob's work with the bent prop organization this year. it's an incredibly honorable recovery mission...
  9. i'm so over this shit. bob was a good person. it was interesting to see how fellow military folks treated him. we were out at moffit air force base in CA a couple years ago for a seminar of sorts on military equipment and providing info from us (vendors) to the riggers. anyway, i watched those guys - from the entry level folks to the highest ranking guy there - treat bob with respect you couldn't even imagine commanding. they LOVED him and respected him like i hadn't seen before. it was very cool to see. they had nothing but decades of good to say about him. NOT ONE BAD WORD...none. people only hope to live in such a good light. hey, i'm not saying he was an angel, but he was a good man. :) hell, he helped my friend marcelo get his citizenship - even gave him his personal american flag that had some significance (can't remember exactly what) to him. it was very touching and he was there for marcelo's swearing in. i used to love it when he brought dakota by PD while he was out back doing something with testing canopies. he placed the winning bid during an auction at JFTC 2005. he spent (i can say this now ) $600 on a f-ing pink chopper bicycle. don't get me wrong, the bike was bad-ass, but it was pink. he didn't give a rats ass and just rode that bitch around and was bring it back to deland. anyway, i'm just babbling. bob was loved by sofa king many people in deland it's crazy. its hard on everybody. just looking at the faces of everyone today at the dz...it's hard. my heart and love and thoughts go out to bob's family, friends and his skydiving family here in deland. molly, if you read this, i'm sending you love. my sincere condolences to danny's family and friends as well. i knew him but not like i did bob.
  10. don't ya think you owe natasha the apology? apologizing to everyone who has posted here doesn't mean shit. she's the one you hammered on.

  16. THANKS for doing that mark!! i never had a doubt that enough money would be raised out there saturday. he was loved for sure. i'm just gonna throw this out there, but maybe we could consider having a little muff brother fund-raiser each year around jan 20th with the charity TBD (bomber fund, the race car thing that the check's going to, etc). i'm just trying to think of ways to keep that love going that johnny so generously put out there. the beauty of it is that it can be a fund raiser across the country and all of it given in johnny's name. or hey, maybe the muff bros reunion could serve the same purpose. just a thought...or two. p.s. would the "muff brothers" be a tax-deductible charitable organization?
  17. harry, that was a HELLUVA tribute you just made... thank you. see ya this weekend?
  18. i'm gonna have to go home and dig thru my photos to get some old school pics from quincy (1998-ish). i'm pretty sure i have some of the muff brothers 10-way speed team from the jet. bickner was there, brad lambert, TK was there, etc. just wanna make sure a lot or years are represented. see you guys saturday.
  19. "hey asshole! what the fuck's going on?" "ahhh you know, watchin' the world go 'round." i got nothin'. i loved that man. he was a good soul...so generous and kind. not sure how many of you guys know this (the zhillians do) but johnny was instrumental in keeping that bomber flying for skydivers. he gave alot of money each year to the restoration society (i think it was) to ensure it continued to fly jumpers. i got my muff brother number back in january 1999, - #1965...from johnny. whenever i would see that lazy eye of his, i would laugh. we joked about selling the squares of carpet from the muff trailer. i remember when he burned his arm/chest with that damn firework. lol he used to get me to go bring back hundreds of dollars worth of explosives from SC for the shows he'd put on at the hills a few years ago. once the mortar fell over, shot under someone's trailer and almost caught fire! :) god bless 'em. a stray is what burned him. i'm gonna miss that asshole, but what a way to go. i bet he was smiling like a m-fer at the end of the skydive...especially if he didn't take it out and they did 2 pts. big red and black canopy, split slider, MUFF! MUFF! MUFF! crossed legs...frap hat and those red muffs. thank fucking god someone thought to keep those. johnny, i love you asshole. there aren't enough words. you will always be number one with me, brother.
  20. hey, i saw bird the weekend before thanksgiving in deland. we were doing 100-ways and jerry came out on that saturday to say hi to everyone. i have never seen him better!!
  21. i think it's fucking hilarious that sacha let them make asses of themselves. :) that's the beauty of his comedy. my guess they were gamecocks anyway.
  22. hey, if they can't handle their alcohol then they shouldn't be drinking. it's called taking responsibility for their own actions and words...drunk or not. looking forward to seeing the movie. :) the guys a genius.
  23. hey, it's that simple. if you're consistently seeing the same members of the competition committees making decisions that seem counterproductive to the general good of the competitors, vote 'em out. it seems there have been issues with sponsors, uniforms, nationals award scheduling, whatever. vote. the reason this is in the relative work forum is because alot of 4-way competitors have been directly affected by decisions that made no sense to anyone else. back to your regularly scheduled programming.
