Hey all! The Boogie is this weekend! We have had a great time enjoying the wind tunnel being here. Adren-l-n: thanks a lot- you guys are awesome! The tunnel will be here through Sunday the 6th. We will be jumping all day Friday (even before the Super King Air gets here) and the tunnel will be open all day as well. Hello All, Just wanted to post directions to East Texas Skydiving for our River Bottom Boogie with Mike Mullins Super King Air June 4th - 6th. From Dallas- Go I 20 East- Just past Tyler to Hwy 271. Turn left under the overpass and go approximately 8 miles. The Gladewater Municipal Airport will be on the left just past the intersection of Hwy 135 and 271. From Shreveport- Go I 20 West to Hwy 135. 135 will dead end across from the airport. Take a right onto Hwy 271 and take the next left into the airport. It is looking like we will have a great weekend of fun jumping and the extended forecast is looking good too! Hey guys! WOW! It is already a week into May and the River Bottom Boogie is less than 4 weeks away! I have another post about the Extreme Sports Week and yes it is correct. We will be jumping all week out of the Cessnas and have the wind tunnel up and running. Mullins will be here on Friday Morning. I will post a more accurate time when I have it. Probably around 10:00 am. We will jump from 8:00 until dark Saturday and Sunday ($17 jumps before 10:00 am). Lift tickets are $19 to 14,000'. There will be a discount for the wind tunnel when a 10 block or more of tickets are bought and any experienced jumper who brings in a tandem or AFF student will receive $10 off a jump per person they bring. That is a $9 jump out of the fastest jumpship in the USA!!!! Everyone who attends will receive a goody bag of cool stuff mostly donated by PD (thanks PD you guys rock!) and have their name put in the prize drawing bucket and prizes will be drawn every hour Saturday and Sunday! East Texas Skydiving and Eagle Flight Training will host an Extreme Sports Week in Gladewater, TX Memorial Day (May 31st) through Thursday June 3rd. Activities will include ADREN_L_N's wind tunnel, airplane rides, flight instruction, umm... oh yeah SKYDIVES (of course) and shuttles back and forth to Tyler (about 20 miles) to Apple Swim and Fitness for an awesome grand opening of their huge pool and a rock climbing wall.* This will be a fun event for any age and all are invited! *Fees apply for most activities.
