StartSkydiving in Middletown, OH is hosting a Sisters in Skydiving weekend June 22-23. The R-44 helicopter is going to be out all weekend for those of you who missed it at this year's Work Stinks! Boogie and for those of you who just couldn't get enough.

The evening of the 15th Norman will be holding an open forum where you can ask questions on any of his photography experiences from working in film to commercials to flying with the falcon or anything else you can think of.

Norman Kent will be sharing his 35 years of knowledge and experience in photography and video in the form of a workshop for all experience levels. Luis Prinetto from Skydive Sebastian will be at StartSkydiving August 17-19 coaching and organizing freeflyers. Participants should be proficient at head up flying and feel comfortable jumping in groups of 3 or more. Registration is $25 and can be done through startskydiving.com's event calendar.

Team Tenacity Background: Tenacity is an all women’s 4-way team that was formed in 2009 and is based out of Middletown, Ohio’s StartSkydiving.com. In 2010 and 2011 the team competed at USPA Nationals in the Intermediate class. This year the team will enter the Advanced class with sponsorship from StartSkydiving.com, and is out to win a medal. The team’s goals are to promote women in skydiving and eventually become representatives on the world stage. We are looking for a female 4-way competitor, experience competing in 4-way (any class) is preferred. There will not be any night jumping this year at the boogie but yes, the pyro demonstration, aerobatic display, fireworks show, and live performances by Hip Kitty & Jimmy's Chicken Shack will all be happening Saturday night.

Unfortunately because of the mass amount of participants and high canopy traffic as well as demand for rental gear we are requiring that all jumpers have at least an A-license. But, please come out before or after the boogie because we'd love to have you out and get you all finished up!

Some more freefly updates: There will be an intro to freeflying seminar held on Friday night at sundown and Team Exos Freefly will be around all day Friday and Saturday for coaching and organizing. Brad and Mel will also be organizing sequentials, tracking dives, tube jumps, and hybrids. Question: Would anyone be interested in being part of the Ohio Women's Vertical Record?
