absolutely not serve fat hillbilly members of the KKK.

    Occupy Phoenix hardest hit.

I went thru their encampment on my way to the Courthouse today. They trend towards the unwashed/unemployed/stoner/hippy variety...

Did the KKK contingent that was 'guarding' them leave, then?

    Didn't see any Klansmen...

Watching the 1975 (before i was born) first season of saturday night... it might as well be today, minus the talk about black and white, gays and pot and government corruption... almost 40 years now, and nothing has changed... snl still has the same formula..ntwork programming is still the same.. the only thing that is different is that in the first season, jim henson had his puppet segment

Pretty much... its still the "establisment clones" who believe they are the only "people who matter" against the rest of the world.

I am not my neighbor's keeper. It is not my responsibility to ensure they have their needs/wants met. It is solely their responsibility.

Of course you are not..You did EVERYTHING all on your own..you are self educated..... to get where you are...and you do not benefit in any way of being part of a civilized society

.I really do hope you get the UNCIVILIZED society you are just praying for.

If "Civilized" means giving everyone, including non-producers, every possible luxury that you can possibly construe as a "necessity" at the expense of producers, I'll take my chances with a bit of "uncivilization."

To quote Margaret Thatcher: "Socialist governments traditionally do make a financial mess. They always run out of other people's money. It's quite a characteristic of them."

    >>OWS appears to have more support than the Tea Party.

    >What's your point?

I gotta say it's fun watching the right wing try to backpedal on the awesomeness of grassroots, popular political protest.

"Thank God for the Tea Party, a popular uprising that proves that the people of the United States are not just going to roll over and take it! That's how democracy is supposed to work - no big business, no contributions, just honest Americans trying to take back their country from the special interests that have taken control! Take that, stupid liberals! The people are too smart to fall for your tricks."

"OWS has even more popular support."

"Well, that doesn't mean anything. Popular groups prove nothing. They have no message. People are idiots anyway."

Did I ever express support of the Tea Party?

Ya know, I think that the people who picket outside of Planned Parenthood are at least as obnoxious as the OWS picketers.

Maybe Desertattorney will send the Planned Parenthood protesters some of his blankets.

Following your absurd logic, any physician who accepts Medicare patients pays no tax, any one working for any corporation with a military contract pays no tax, no member of the military pays tax, no construction worker on a bridge or highway project pays tax, no police or firefighter pays tax, no elementary or high school school teacher pays tax... because somewhere along the way the government provides some money...

    Stupid, even for you.

Sorry if being called on your hypocrisy stings. It's amazing you have the gall to talk about the GM bailout.

That doctor gets reduced payments for the same service when it's Medicare. He's doing the same job for less. This is rather different from you doing the same job at a higher price thanks to federal subsidies.

Utter nonsense. No-one is forced to go to college. We all need healthcare.

Put your money where your mouth is; start your own college and undercut the competition if you think that's how it works.

How very eliteist and Republican-Capitalist of you.

How does your desire to fleece the producers in this country jive with your desire to preserve your own six-figure salary? After all, you don't need that much money, so you don't really deserve to get it...

Crap like that happens when your only source for Boeing replacement parts is on the Black Market...

That was my thought; pretty good pilot, mediocre maintenance. :D

Nah.. its just another NATO plot:D

Yeaahhh...NATO is hugely popular in Iran...:S

I realize that sarcasm is tough on here.. but if you had been following Skypers posts recently..... what can I say... as an attorney one would think that perception problems would be detrimental:ph34r::ph34r:

  10. I've seen footage of the poor souls at Occupy Wall Street shivering at night in the cold...I want to help. Where did the US Army get those Smallpox-laced blankets in the 1800s? I want to send a few hundred to the OWS hippies to keep them warm at night...

Good job you didn't go to college, or you would have been a big time leecher, I guess, along with all the others who resent paying taxes but take government services.

I provide a service that is in high demand, I am paid for it, and the people I graduate go out and become productive taxpayers with good jobs. Where they get their money to pay my employer is not my business.

How does it feel to be one of the 1% you loathe so much?

I guess Desertattorney Esq.(unverified) can't answer the question.

Can't answer the question either, can you?

Best stay anonymous. I disagree with Mark and Mike on most things, but at least I can respect them for standing behind their beliefs.

To be part of the 1% while leaching off of the government and college students and complaining about the rest of the 1% ... professors.

How is he leeching off the government and college students?

A professor who makes their money from the government and college students making statements about the greed and corruption of the banking and medical industries while college prices are up again ... should take a look in the mirror.

So, to be clear - even teaching in a private institution one still would suck off of the benefits of government intervention artificially driving up the price of providing education in the entire market.

& IIT is flooded with ROTC Cadets whose Full Rides flood IIT with 100% paid in full cash (Govt Money).

It's fair to say that full professors are at least over the $150,000 per annum mark...

You have a very funny definition of "flooded". About 1% of our students are ROTC.

Ok, I shall concede that point, but how do you justify approximately $50,000 per year in costs? $200,000+ for a B.S. is rather steep... All the fault of those evil bankers?

Are you prepared to give up some of your six-figure salary to help out those poor downtrodden kids that graduate from the Ghetto high schools (other than the two catholic ones) around IIT?

  15. There is a difference between religious law being enforced by Secular Courts, and Binding arbitration.

The latter is used in situations wherein the parties agree to take it to a religious court to decide the dispute, having first agreed to be bound by the decisions therefrom.

Not a real problem, until you get to things like Muslim Women being coerced into accepting the jurisdiction of Sharia "courts," when they have a history of treating women like cattle...
