Hey! Monkey, I had nothing to do with that! Was waiting for you to chime in. Nope, you are off the hook. This weekend we were flocking with some nice tempting puffies in the area. So we started joking that the base kept getting distracted like the dogs in the movie "UP". Every time his head moved to look at a possible puffy of opportunity, we thought "SQUIRREL". We knew there was always the chance that if one got close enough, the base would lead the flock in that direction. We had some absolutely fantastic flights. On the flight in question, I was stacked right over the base when he took off to get over the top of one. Even though I knew it was coming, I fell into the burble losing altitude and all my speed. He made it over, I made it through the puffy. When I landed, I told him of getting burbled. He laughed his ass off and said "SQUIRREL"!. Skydive Oregon's "All of the Above Boogie" and "Oregon State Wingsuit Record" attempts. August 27-29th 2010. Skydive Oregon is a great DZ with one of the most beautiful views from the altitude and on the ground. Extra large grass landing area, HUGE swoop pond. With Lodi being perhaps one of the busiest wingsuit dz around, I have not seen even one malfuction of this sort. Perhaps the way the bridle is stowed while folding the is the issue? www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com

Most, if not all, of my private students these days have pre tunnel time. They are awesome in the air after I let them go on the first AFF jump. They get the aircraft exits down though, just like a non tunnel student, and have better altitude awareness, since they aren't having to think about any stability issues. With tunnels so abundant now, any one thinking of learning to skydive should take the time to get in one and learn stability in the air before starting a skydiving course. www.WestCoastWingsuits.com www.PrecisionSkydiving.com
