  1. I've heard this a few times about the nylon screw and I'm a little concerned. I haven't done any tests myself just apply my knowledge of shear forces. The way that the go-pro is mounted the shear force is divided in 4 spots. A Nylon M5 bolt has a strength in double shear of about 250 lbs. The way the go pro is mounted this is a theoretical force of 500 lbs. I would image the mount itself would break before the bolt shears. Am i missing something? (Just realized your not mounting a go pro.)
  2. My first rig and just brought her home. Absolutely love it so far, still need my main though. I really like the red stitching, but you can't see it well in the pic.
  3. I've seen this also and am curious. My first thought is that you wouldn't want ear plugs due to the pressure change. That you would want your ear canal to equalize with atmosphere. But if this isn't a concern i would definately try it.
  4. Thats awesome Melissa. I was potato chipping on my D jumps and after i did my first solo exit I was really able to relax and be stable. Then it felt like it clicked. Sunday night Michelle and I also ended up doing our graduation jumps on a sunset load. Best day of skydiving so far.
  5. Congrats on the first jump. I just started my AFF at sky's the limit. Highly recommend it. Im going for my cat c jump on sunday. Everytime I've been it's been an absolute awesome time.
