  1. Elcheapo version: I have a cannon sureshot owl I got from skydance, It was already fitted with a thumb release and a 3.5mm jack (I think, I measured it???) The thumb release was not very conducive to skydiving because you would have to thread the cable down the sleeve of your jumpsuit etc. (unless I cut the wire in the middle and added a plug) but I really wanted to have something that was 'hands free'. The switch I bought was the long skinny one from paragear, most of the other vidiots I know use the flat round one...first clue:( I had a senior camera flyer splice the two together and it worked ok, I never could get a consistent 'bite' though so it took a few squeezes to get it to fire each time. He saudered the wires together, I think right. Anyway, when I put it all in my helmet it stopped working....so I guess I either shorted something or lost a connection when taping all the excess and jack to my helmet...or the switch gave out, maybe why it was so difficult to get it to work in the first place...Thanks in advance!!!
  2. I have a bite switch from paragear that I am having trouble getting to work properly. Any suggestions on wiring, I have it connected to a remote releae that came with the camera, but it only fires the camera when you first plug it in, after that, it won't fire. Any suggestions, what is the best bite switch, etc?? thanks!!
  3. Thank you for your comments, I guess I should have stated this earlier but I forgot....is it safe to assume the ONLY material you would want the wings made out of is the B ZP??? That is what I was picturing, and with above comments, I guess for durability a Atomex body and ZP wings is what I'd want?? Anything further is very helpful!!!
  4. I'm getting ready to order a new GTI, first suit, and was wanting some feedback on the body material. Which one is more popular and why. I will be jumping year round and it gets damn cold in the winter...and equally as hot and humid in the summer. Also, how do you want the suit to fit (I'll ask Jari what he reccomends of course), if I wear a couple of layers in the winter will I still be comfortable or shoule I have it made a little loose for extra layers??? Thanks in advance!!!! BSBD!
  5. I am interested in learning to fly a wing suit, I know the classic is the beginner suit, but will I want more performance from it than it can give eventually, resulting in having to purchase a GTI, has anyone else started out on a GTI and is this possible?? I have over 500 skydives and 60 BASE jumps. thanks for everything, especially the flames!
