Yes,some skydivers are thieving bastards.I had someone steal from my kit just before getting aboard jumpship. The item was of little monetory value, but a gift I treasured. In my case I know who it was, An ex policeman no less !

Off with their heads ! We cant afford these scroungers.

I had 24 years away from the sport,I went to a local D.Z. and was cleared to jump--even though I d never jumped a square ! I decided to go back "on the rope" and did a few before free fall. Its like riding a bike--I m as crap now as I was in the seventies ,Blue Skies,KC. -

I also had a bit of a break,24 years to be exact. When I went to one DZ--they cleared me to jump even though I d never jumped a square!ButQuote I then re-trained (on the "Dope Rope" again). I m nearly 68 and enjoying myself doing things I couldn t do in the seventies,Balloon jumps, high altitude(22,000ft)jumps ,And DC3s too. Blue Skies (sometimes) KC. -
The BPA magazine is usually full of the same old faces, one issue had 16 pictures of the same person. Not much to actually read. occasional issue has kit revue which can be intersting, but more often ,its a quick scan--then-in the bin !Too much of a FANZINE !

Anyone have e mail address of Jerry Bird? Thanks in anticipation,KC

Good friendly centre,Staff eager to get you in the air,Always make you feel welcome-unlike many other DZs. A shame it can only operate twenty eight days a year. The general atmosphere at this DZ puts other clubs to shame. Blue Skies, KC.

I've jumped at Hinton many times, the staff generally have always been helpful and polite,Some days it seems "overun" with Tamdems,So better to go midweek if you can.The jumpship (PAC)is first class, and the landing zone huge.
