  1. Erm...I work on a Uranium mine and I can say with all honesty, my suit doesn't glow... ...drags me down like some sweet gravity!!!
  2. Shit dude, Glad to hear you're ok. Did you deploy yourself or was it from the collision? Gotta be careful out there boys and girls! Safe flights further... Ca-Caw, Courteney. ...drags me down like some sweet gravity!!!
  3. Hey there, I'm toying with the idea of building a windtunnel. Does anyone out there know where I can get hold of plans or info on building one? Cheers, Courteney. ...drags me down like some sweet gravity!!!
  4. No not the band. Howzit flockers, Just to tell you that last night history was made above the night skies above Swakopmund, Namibia. Bruns and I did our FIRST night wingsuit flock!!! And it was flocking awesome to say the least!!! Scary, exciting, awesome shit. My wife, Melanie aka Crazymel did her First night jump. I’m very proud of her for handling her super fast landing like a pro. BEEEEEEEEEEEEEERS all round, only thing is if you flockers out there want your ice cold brewsky you need to Get your wingsuit asses over here. Everyone had ace landings and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. Highly recommendable!!! Ca-Caw, Courteney. ...drags me down like some sweet gravity!!!
  5. Hey Tonto, Howzit going dude? It's been a while... Um...have you tried shoving a couple Tampax up your nose and see if that works? It's the air up there. Cheers, Courteney. ...drags me down like some sweet gravity!!!
  6. Forgive me for I have sinned. It's been way too long since I was last on this forum. My internet access at work was taken away. But I'll soon be getting a connection at home then you'll see my blue and black ass here more often. Weather sucks atm, just waiting for mist to clear then going to fly around Swakopmund. Ca-Caw, Courteney. ...drags me down like some sweet gravity!!!
  7. Howzit, Just out of interest the other day I chopped my wings before deploying. Just to see if the shit ever had to hit the fan, that I could chop em without any problems. Well it was interesting, they both released fine, did find that I had a helluva drop as soon as they released, made very sure not to lose a cutaway and deployed without problemos. I recommend it for any wingsuit pilot out there to experiment and put their suits through their paces to avoid any nasty surprises when the time comes. Cheers, Ca-Caw!!! 8. Hey there Tonto, Glad to hear he made it out alright. I have a hackey that came with the PC I got from Birdman. I have weighed it in light of this incident and compared it to my "normal" hackey and a pipe and found that although the pipe is lighter than a "normal" hackey, it is somewhat heavier than the hackey supplied from Birdman. Anyone else find this? I've had zero problemos so far but Bruns who had changed from a puff to a hackey has had two near pc in tow. Take it easy boys and girls, Ca-Caw!!! 9. Hey T, Hasn't happened to me so far, but does happen is that I catch my arm hairs in the zipper when I zip them closed. Can't really see why it would happen on your flesh unzipping them. You don't wear jeans alot do you? ...drags me down like some sweet gravity!!!
  10. Hey Tonto, Yeah it was awesome...just a tad scary but that added to the experience. The wife is totally addicted to birdy rodeo. Tried one yesterday but it was not sooooo succesful...interesting though. I'd recommend the microlight jump if you ever get the chance. Take it easy, Ca-caw! Courteney. ...drags me down like some sweet gravity!!!
  11. Howzit, History was made this past weekend in Tsumeb, Namibia. On Sat, the 5th Feb at sunrise, the first wingsuits were flown over Tsumeb. Might not be a big deal but we jumped out of a Microlight!!! Unfortunetly we have no pics only a very shaky vid from the ground. Next we'll make a plan for some pics. Was very nervous and exciting and a lot of fun...just too many wires to look out for. Bernt Bruns and myself also did a coupla two ways and I took my wife for the first wingsuit rodeo over Tsumeb aswell. There were beers to be had galore. Anyone else done birdy from a Microlight? Ca-Caw, Courteney. ...drags me down like some sweet gravity!!!
  12. Well quite a few of us jump reverse risers at our dz. And in spinning mals and a coupla bag locks we have found no problems with them. I'm sure your body position at the time of a mal has something to do with it. In a baglock situation, there is a good chance of being put into a stand up, (won't happen all the time I know), if you're in that position, then the 3 rings should work whatever direction they're facing. Maintenance of the risers has something to do with too. ...drags me down like some sweet gravity!!!

  14. Well it's 01:06am, Friday the 4th Feb. I'm at work, last nightshift then off for a week...and it's 33degrees C outside. That's around 90 F for those in da states. Guess that comes from working in a desert. ...drags me down like some sweet gravity!!!
  15. Ah...I see. Cool thanks. Would importing files from another editing program make any difference on the outcome of the video? ...drags me down like some sweet gravity!!!
