  1. Couple I have quickly thought of. “What do you do at terminal?” “You don’t know who you are until you’ve been to terminal.”
  2. Nicked from somewhere else as I am not feeling very original today but, If at first you don’t succeed, Skydiving is not for you.
  3. Didn’t know Tom that well only having met him at the boogie, but spoke to him a few times in the bar and around the drop zone. Seemed a top guy and would love to have known him better. All you who did obviously knew a special person. Blue Skies Tom, and the next jump I do will be for you.
  4. Back on the site after dropping off for a couple of years. So hello everyone. I have decided to bar humbug Christmas this year so am heading out to experience the Arizona Christmas boogie on more time. Went in 2003 and had an excellent time, you know your having fun when you get board of Sky vans!! Anyway I am flying into Phoenix on either the 18 or 19th from San Francisco, as I am stopping there for a few days, and was wondering if any other jumpers are landing on either of those days who could possibly share some transport. Checked with the company mentioned on the AZ web page and was told, The fares for Skydive AZ are $55.00 for 1 person, $65.00 2 persons or $30.00 each for 3 or more persons, so obviously if there are a few others going down we could save a few $$s. Blue skys people and I am keen to see if my old Blue Van is still knocking about, last I heard it was left on Dave, the old bar mans, drive, but that was 3 years ago. 6. Having been crusing about the South Island trying to jump at "Tandem Factories" it was very refreashing to turn up here and be told I was very welcome and they would try to get me in the air as soon as possible. And they did, pairing me up for a 2-way sit jump with one of the other sport jumpers hanging about, then a 3-way very soon after. Very cool place, some of the most chill and friendly tamdem masters I have ever met and a good fun vibe around the whole dropzone. Just be warned they do hold the 'first' beer rule very seriously and appaerntly the beer bought must start with the letter 'M'. go there, jump and have fun!!
  7. It is an amzing place but the dropzone is just a small hanger at Wanaka Airport. I called up and was told you need at least a B licence, I told them I had 120 jumps and an A licence and they said I could not jump, harsh.
