  1. So the laundry soap ad every time go enter DZ.com.?. Just wondering if others are thinking what I'm thinking.
  2. where is it going to be, or when do they announce it
  3. What video lens are you using? I'm at the same point of shopping for a still lens and should I also be trying to match the wideness with the still lens with my video lens. I'm doing tandem videos with a .3 lens. Those 15mm picts look pretty close to what I get on video(especially the door shot). Any have experience matching video to still: .3 video = ? still .45 // = ? //
  4. Has any one else noticed the forecast? How about some beautiful blue skies.?. Let Jump
  5. I've heard the date might by changing? Any details?
  6. Let me know if you need anything else! Wish I could be there Alana - What we need is for you to get your butt out here so we can all have some fun and jump with you again!
  7. Freakin awesome! I'm in! How bout a scramble like Memorial Day?? I was also checking into State records on USPA... anyone up for a headdown record in Ohio?
  8. I'm usually up for anything, yah I'm easy like that. Let's have some fun.
  9. NOT Good! What a great guy, always up for some fun jumps! He will be missed. My thoughts go toward the family.
  10. Yah I agree, your fall rate range is pretty good. One thought - Don't get stuck on the idea that you have to have that "typical sit" body position. Best example: I jump with a really good freeflier that sounds like your body type, light and he's also tall. His head up flying looks closer to a stand while everybody else is sitting. Figure out what body position works for you at your target fall rate.
  11. Hey Kevin, Tandem videos - I jump mainly a .45 lens. You can get nice face shoots without being as close and it can allow for a little fudging room on the exit. I have been using a .30 for some tandem the last couple of years but you just need to stay that much closer (especially on exit). Fun and Freeflying - I love the .30 lens. For docked exits and that flying in the formation look the .30 is what you want. One thing I will recommend is the flat lens (diamond or cookie). I've snagged my larger .45 on a couple of things. Since I moved to the diamond lens I haven't caught anything. Maybe it has been luck but the difference is size is well worth the price.
