  1. First, I would shit my pants. Second, wipe it with $100 bills YO! "Better to have a short life that is full of what you like doing, than a long life spent in a miserable way." - Alan Watts
  2. pics. Can't see the wings, but............. "Better to have a short life that is full of what you like doing, than a long life spent in a miserable way." - Alan Watts
  3. I got a Giaco RW suit (here and used). I'm 6-1 230 solid 36" waist, 48 chest. The previous owner sent it to Bev to have it modded with some wings. Suit has booties and is looser on the arms and lower legs. I have used it with great results on RW jumps. Great control and mitigated my fall rate. Believe me, I feel your pain finding stuff for us bigger guys. I lucked out on getting a used suit without having to get a custom. However, custom may be your only option. Keep an eye out in the classified section. "Better to have a short life that is full of what you like doing, than a long life spent in a miserable way." - Alan Watts

  6. You assume a lot not knowing anything about me or or my background. If you read my post you can easily see that I am not bashing peregrinerose's expertise, or his knowledge on the subject. peregrinerose may be a hell of a doc for all I know. What I do have a problem with, is a doctor on the internet telling someone they are dumb for not choosing a specific procedure while not knowing anything about the person or having the benefit of an exam that would aid in a treatment plan. "If you are smart, you'll do PRK instead." "Better to have a short life that is full of what you like doing, than a long life spent in a miserable way." - Alan Watts
  7. I would be weary of any proclaimed (or real doc) on the internet that would recommend a specific procedure without the benefit of a physical exam and in-depth consultation about your specific needs and physiological circumstances.I personally find it irresponsible for anyone, doc or not, to make statements such as "If you are smart, you'll do PRK instead.", without seeing you one on one. Maybe PRK is the solution for you, maybe not. No disrespect to peregrinerose, but go see your Doc in person to get the low-down. 11. Wear your glasses but take them off for the pictures. No harm no foul. LASIK = best money I ever spent. Did it 6 years ago, still 20/15 both eyes. (Individual results may vary. Do not attempt at home. The people in this film are professionals. Professional drivers on a closed course...................) 14. After about the first 30 slides you will get the point. Slides of interest; #94 and #109. http://www2.taser.com/research/statistics/Documents/TASER%20Injury%20Reduction%20Stats%20PUBLIC%20June%203%202009.pdf "Better to have a short life that is full of what you like doing, than a long life spent in a miserable way." - Alan Watts
  15. HAAAA !!! I'm not crazy. The OP never stated in his riddle as to wether or not he knew which rigs were bad, only that you had a choice of 3. "This is different from a scenario where Monty is choosing his door at random and there is a possibility he will reveal the car. In this instance the revelation of a goat would mean that the chance of the contestant's original choice being the car would go up to 1 in 2. This difference can be demonstrated by contrasting the original problem with a variation that appeared in vos Savant's column in November 2006. In this version, Monty Hall forgets which door hides the car. He opens one of the doors at random and is relieved when a goat is revealed. Asked whether the contestant should switch, vos Savant correctly replied, "If the host is clueless, it makes no difference whether you stay or switch. If he knows, switch" (vos Savant, 2006)." Forget Einstein, I'm punching Monty Hall in the baby-maker. "Better to have a short life that is full of what you like doing, than a long life spent in a miserable way." - Alan Watts
  16. Horse Shit on the variable change Let me tell you how my brain does math. Once "B" is eliminated you divy up its 33% between the remaining two rigs. Regardless that you already picked "A", you still have a choice between one of two rigs. To me it doesn't matter that you already "picked" it. Variable change my ass........I'll punch that Einstein prick right in the kidney if I ever see him. 17. Ok, not a mathematician so help me out here. If a bad rig is taken out of the mix and all that is left are two rigs (one bad one good), how in the hell are you getting a 66% chance by switching when there are only two rigs left? One choice out of 3 gives you a 33% chance of picking the right one. If only two are left you have a 50/50 of having the right one on your back. The third rig is no longer a part of the equation. Initially A,B, and C are unknowns. Now that there is a known factor, the odds change. ( I have a feeling there is some egghead on here that sprinkles calculus formulas on his cheerios in the morning that is going to make me wish I never posted this) "Better to have a short life that is full of what you like doing, than a long life spent in a miserable way." - Alan Watts
  18. Defining cosmetic.... To me "cosmetic" means to have an elective surgery out of narcissism and not for a legitimate health reason. If you are taking the Moose Knuckle to the taxidermist on your own dime, cool. It's your money do what ever the hell you want. If you want to get it done on my tax dollar........go get some cordura panties. 19. My theory was also along the line of familiarity with water as a human. I find it interesting the blindness to fatality statistics when the average Joe wants to Scuba but in the same breath that will be the first thing they use to rebut going skydiving. Maybe it's just how my brain functions when I'm bored at work but if you have a 1 in whatever chance of dying..........your still dead no matter the delivery method. Right, wrong, or indifferent, I thought it was an interesting thing to ponder. "Better to have a short life that is full of what you like doing, than a long life spent in a miserable way." - Alan Watts
  20. Exactly what I was trying to get at. The perspective of the average Joe on the street that has probably done neither. "Scuba! Hell Yeah let's go!" "Skydiving!? WTF, you are out of your damn mind!!" "Better to have a short life that is full of what you like doing, than a long life spent in a miserable way." - Alan Watts
  21. For shits and giggles I did a rough search of scuba diving fatalities per annum and then loosely crunched some numbers, one can deduce that scuba is equivalent or even more dangerous than skydiving. My point is not that one is more dangerous than the other but that they are both considered high-risk due to the occurrences of fatalities. So I ponder this: Why do you think people, generally without any hesitation, will scuba dive; but the second you try and convince them to take a tandem jump they freak out about possibly dying and there is no way in hell you could even get them close to a DZ. I have my theory but am interested in what other perspectives are floating around out there. 24. Really??? She got out of the way??? Was it some scene from a cheap B flick, all in slow motion, with the slooow animalistic groans as parts swung through the air???
