  2. I think maybe he might've been talking to the people posted just above him for those of us viewing the threads 'flat'. Just guessing cuz it was getting pretty childish right about there. Pammi
  3. Oh! Looks painful Andrea! I've heard sprains are generally more painful then if it actually just breaks...I'm guessing that's a matter of opinion adn couldn't say since I've not had either yet. I hope everything goes well at your appointment Monday! Pammi
  4. I previously would've said that I'm perfectly comfortable buying/selling on Ebay, but that was before I got a weird email from someone about an item I was supposedly selling that he wanted details on. He suspected from different details that something was amiss, so he went though the 'about me' page, got our jewelry webpage address, then contacted me from the email there. Apparently someone had hacked into my Ebay account because I had a 100% rating and used my profile to email people who were bidding on items to sell them a similar item privately. They had changed my email address on my profile to theirs, then referenced my profile and rating to help make their sale. When the people replied, it went directly to them so I had no idea what was going on. Turns out I sold a BUNCH of stuff! Treadmills and all sorts of crap. Poor people could only make a complaint to Ebay. I did so myself with all of the emails I got after I changed my profile back about items people had never received from me, but Ebay was pretty unconcerned it seemed. A form letter that they would check into it, but that's it. Same to the first guy who notified me what was going on. So these people were all screwed, she/he even signed my full name to her emails to them, and I'm not sure what they can do about it. I felt pretty bad and now I'm leary about buying or selling on Ebay. Pammi

  18. Did a night jump in OK over the prison in Cushing. Talk about not wanting to land out! If you made it past the prison guards' guns, you'd still not be wanting to be there! Pammi
  19. That's a great page for advice! I'm still pretty new to running myself, and am just working into running outside rather then on a treadmill which I finally enjoy (I used to HATE to run) so it's harder. But the best advice I got over and over was the shoes. I don't know if you've gone to a place that sells shoes for runners in particular (I looked up a store near me on the page Dagny referred mentioned) but they were a TREMENDOUS help finding shoes that made running comfortable. He actually watched me walk and looked at how I stood, then suggested some shoes. I then walked on a treadmill there for a minute to see how they felt. It wasn't entirely comfortable at first because apparently I overpronate which I didn't think I did so it felt a little irritating having shoes correcting that, but now it feels great and it's so much nicer to run without any pain in my shins or feet. Oklahoma

Heaven help me, I'm nostalgic from time to time for Oklahoma! Kris can hook you up. There are several good DZ's down there, but you might want to make the couple hours drive down to Dallas if you want anything larger then a Cesna 182 to get out of. On one hand, they are fun little planes to jump, but on the other, slow climb to low altitude. OSC in Cushing is our home DZ. I'm not sure who all is still there, but Mike runs a very safe, friendly DZ. I miss the trips to Chili's in Stillwater with the group and the indoor packing, Vid room, etc, etc, there. We've been to Hinton a few times as well. Nice, nice people too. Also indoor packing and nice facilities. We were up to Tulsa area just a couple of times, ditto the people there as well. No end to DZ's, plenty of flat landing areas if you can get off the wind holds ! Pammi
