My mom got bit by one recently and was in the hospital last week because of it (they think a recluse). They opened her arm from just above her elbow to her wrist to let the poison out and left it open for about 2 days while she was on antibiotics. Luckily no muscle or bone was damaged! I saw my first black widow in this bug-ridden NC recently while sitting on the porch. I really don't know what they do?? Are they really THAT poisonous? Now I'm wigged out. I left it alone cuz I don't like squishing anything, but maybe I should call an exterminator! Pammi

I've had a design in mind for about 2 years now and then finally got a gift certificate from Merrick and the kids for my 30th birthday a couple weeks ago! Here it is (mostly). I still have the yellow, red and orange to color in which will make it really look awesome, another 45 mins or so, but it's mostly done. Pammi

Hmm...unique that I will tell : I read everything but books backwards (including threads on here.) I moved out and married at 16, had a child, but still graduated with honors and have a successful career without college. I couldn't walk for 3 days when I was 6, and they diagnosed me with lukemia, but it was a mistake. I actually had rheumatic fever (an enlarged heart). Since then my son was supposed to die due to his heart condition but miraculously didn't, and my mom as well was predicted to die a couple of years ago during heart surgery, but didn't. I'm blessed. I'm VERY shy. Pammi
