  1. Sounds like Racer risers. Do they look like the picture?
  2. I doubt you know, but is it PPTP, IPsec or SSL based? Certain VPN technologies are shitty connection sensitive as part of their security measures and some are a little bit more resilient. Don't have experience with Nortel. Also, are they allowing you to split tunnel or forcing everything from your desktops over the VPN? Going to split tunnel could help. Also, are you connecting to a remote desktop or doing something more intense such as accessing a DB at the system overseas from your desktops here?
  3. Got to shuttle jump at Sebastian. Great experience. Self pic.
  4. You better enlarge the drawings quite a bit. We know how hard it is for you to color inside the lines. New event: who can color in the order form the best? Judging criteria are: overall uniqueness, how well you stay inside the lines, and use of color wheel theory. 1 minute of working time and the order form to be used will be drawn at the beginning of the day.
  5. I saw in your other thread you're coming to Florida; Sebastian has a big box o' wings plus Jeff is there as Tony's rep.
  6. Spot, I take it you're still under NDA for the new cams from Sony, but... what options will there be now that even it looks like even the CX160 has OIS, ebay for cx100/110/150s?
  7. Dang it, I came in to suggest them. Yea, the Firebolt from Jump Shack is not a bad canopy, hybrid elliptical 9 cell, it's good fun to fly and opens great. I'd give them a ring. And they are willing to work with customers on custom sizing and such. Edit: brain fart
  8. The mental image of this had me in hysterics. Reminded me of the sky car: http://www.aerofiles.com/pitts-skycar-filmclip.jpg
  9. Seconding pictures, a 475 should fit a 190 zp, I have had 190 zp and a 200 hybrid canopies in my container with no over stuffing and it was Jump Shack who picked the container size for the canopy size I was looking at.
  10. dave thanks for clarifying what info I was asking for
  11. On the pin flap what does it say for main container, should have some letters followed by some number. And what's the size of the main?
  12. It's Mac, short for Macintosh. And, if you do attempt to copy a directory to a directory holding a directory of the same name, it will attempt to overwrite; open up the directory and copy the contents to the destination directory. If you're getting prompts to replace, then you probably have files with the same name.
  13. You are most likely correct, it won't boot, the RAID set has to be in a healthy state and recognized by the hardware before the computer could even attempt to boot the OS on the drives, this would require the computer to have hardware supporting the RAID set. Getting a little more technical... It's not purely software RAID, Intel's relies on specific chipsets to support the functionality. You may need to scare up another machine with a chipset that supports it. Also, I'd highly advise AGAINST booting with these drives attached in any machine but one with Intel RAID support; the reason why, is that certain OS's can and will write tiny amounts of data to the drives screwing up the data to a point where you'd need Ontrack or another professional company to do recovery; part of the reason that drives involved with forensic analysis are cloned on write blocked connectors (chain of custody, preservation of the original, etc... being other reasons). Found this, not vetting it any way: http://www.runtime.org/raid.htm and this, again, not vetting the info: http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/showpost.php?p=3329132&postcount=6 Hope you learned your lesson to not trust RAID 0 and to make backups. Good luck. Edit: made a minor clarification
  14. Jarno, I was thinking, some of the videos you've cut have shown some interesting logos/art on the various surfaces, such as the vampire mouth on one V3 tail; in addition, the work on Steph Davis' Five Ten V3 is pretty amazing, do you guys have a compilation of all the custom work done that could be put online or would that run into the realm of respecting the customer by keeping such a thing private?
  15. I heard about your glow "sticks" at New Years.
  16. Similar event from late last year, had the footage and just got around to editing and uploading: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=detSZl23Blw Jumper didn't bother to preflight the rental rig they used and got a reserve ride with tree landing for their trouble. The offset would've been clear as day the display screen if they had bothered to look. Thankfully they were out of the flip when it activated.
  17. Michael, I got mine earlier this week, quick shipping from Canada. Smart choice on using the battery you did, makes for easy availability on replacements . Great piece of kit, can't wait to get it in the air.
  18. From looking at the schematic and, if I recall correctly, what has been said by Michael (crwper) this is not possible as the the tip and ring on the jack are wired to the same line. Edit: LukeH, nice name FlyBlind
  19. Sorry, yes meant leg grips. Lol, look at that smile.
  20. Going to go for a Shadow with grippers suit eventually? And speaking of, (mind you I looked at the footage a while ago) were any of the teams flying suits with grippers? Awesome flying on everyone's part, especially Costyn's.
  21. Why? I'm guessing because if it has a brain fart and thinks you're under canopy though still flying it'll skip the freefall alarms.
