  1. Anyone have some nice material to work with? Just starting by Tshirts, probably the typical swooping silhouette or something similar. Links of collections, PM's, whatever! Thanks Stay high pull low
  2. and the picture is in "big size" above the pilot's daughter bed And you know this how LOL Stay high pull low
  3. I had my radio for my first jump. After that, my instructor "forgot" to turn them on in the plane. Liked it better that way. I've seen some people RELY on these things. You shouldn't even need it. Remember ground school? Remember the landing pattern, tips and tricks you were taught? Oh yeah. You should know how to do it. Maybe you don't like the canopy flight chapter of the skydive (you're insane..) but, the sport just might not be for you. My suggestion would be to stop running home and posting your troubles on the internet. If you can't hang around the DZ and bring these discussions up with your intructors and staff, you aren't going to have many friends. Stay high pull low
  4. Correct, usually. Be sure to take your logbook and all other material. Stay high pull low
  5. Yeah, I was in the same spot. Try just turning the inside piece 45deg at a time and pulling the outside piece off. After you get it off you'll understand but of course, by then you'll have gone through all the work Stay high pull low
  6. Anyone have a few good links on places to order it? No idea where or how much it goes for. Not a rigger or any sort or anything to work with it at all, just have a pair of pants I'd like to put a chunk of it on the ass. Thanks Stay high pull low
  7. Croakies! Plus your helmet will be sitting pretty snug (I'd hope) on them.. Stay high pull low
  8. I've spoken with Scott and he mentioned it but I'm not aware of any numbers.. Stay high pull low
  9. Yeah noticed that after browsing around a bit. I've also sort of set of liquid but it'll be a while; $100+ glasses aren't my top priority right now.. Stay high pull low
  10. Never knew about that, thanks! Anyone have any comment on the 'S' version of them? Is that a slimmer fir or what? Stay high pull low
  11. If you're a human, google for a dropzone in Az. Chances are you'll find quite a nice one as a first result. Stay high pull low
  12. You'll do the AFF levels, then get cleared for solo. From there you'll do solo jumps and most likely coach jumps to get to 25, the minimum for the A license. The USPA membership is just that, a membership. You get the magazine, but you still have to send in your application for licenses (A, B, C, D, and other ratings). You should learn to pack before getting your A license. For gear, ideally you'll want to find some soon after getting your license, intructors and others at a DZ will help you with that, not the internet. Stay high pull low
  13. Where are you finding these for $50? Link please :) Stay high pull low
  14. More progress, however it's having difficulties comparing them correctly.. Stay high pull low
  15. This somewhat works, but it only moves each grouping over by 2, so I added a second 'Selection.Insert Shift:=xlToRight' which leaves a gap between the groups but that can be dealt with later. So now all the groupings stair step down to the right. Now it's just a matter of shifting all of the groupings UP to the top of the page. Any ideas? http://img802.imageshack.us/img802/4333/capturer.jpg Stay high pull low
  16. I have to disagree, as I believe many others would, with you putting the fusion in front of the sabre2. I'm not telling you to jump on the bandwagon, but you need to think of multiple things. I was once in your very shoes, convincing myself the fusion was the way to go. And I'm not putting it down, I'd still love to try it out after being on my sabre2, but think of things such as PD the company itself. Huge, great R&D, customer support and outreach. It's just a better family to get settled with than other companies. But hey, go demo them Stay high pull low
  17. So the velcro idea except rather than velcro right onto the audible, slip it into a 'condom' so to speak? Definitely slipped my mind, thanks! Stay high pull low
  18. My helmet's liner is shit, mostly in the audible pockets. There were sleeve type things made out of a fabric similar to nylon, but they are shit. The first thing that comes to mind is velcro, a piece on the audible and a piece against the shell in the pocket. Any other easy ideas? Also not sure about removing the velcro from the audible, will it come off and clean up fine? Stay high pull low
  19. It doesn't matter! You can't control what happens, not everything goes according to plan. It's life. It's all around you every day. I do my best to keep the servers running strong with no hiccups but shit happens and you have to deal with it when the time comes. Not saying preparation is worthless, but even with the utmost care and attention to detail when planning, you can't prevent what you don't know is going to happen. Stay high pull low
  20. I'll go ahead and post these for future use by anyone searching this.. Thanks to Mike at Chutingstar. http://img811.imageshack.us/img811/9688/corevector1.jpg http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/4076/corevector2.jpg Stay high pull low
  21. And, if you're suggesting that the entire load bump things up 500-1000k, what does that change? If everyone changes as a whole you have the same issue whether you plan to break at 9k or 3k. Stay high pull low
  22. You can't go back in time and change events real-time. Do you have a time machine? So you're saying going low is more dangerous than pulling higher than planned? In my opinion, where I pull is incredibly comfortable and I would have no problem at all going lower, even by 1k. (3k to 2k) if the situation deemed necessary. I would NOT want to bump my 3k to 4k. I do hop and pops lower than that, c'mon. Stay high pull low
  23. Right right, didn't go back enough in the convo. Cheers. Stay high pull low
  24. Going low after seeing someone above you isn't a good alternative? Uh, what others are there? Sure you can reply and talk about how separation and other things should have been planned and executed better but that's in the past and you can't go back and alter things. In the moment, I don't see any other 'alternatives' and I wouldn't have a problem going lower after seeing someone above me. Stay high pull low
  25. Here's what I have. I've got a huge excel file that I need to use macro's to move things around for easier processing. Three columns, A B and C. A and B are data values, C is a sound file used, eg wav1.wav. So it will look something like: 29.4 22.4 wav1.wav 29.4 34.1 wav1.wav 74.2 58.2 wav1.wav 22.5 72.6 wav1.wav 45.2 89.5 wav2.wav 23.5 11.3 wav2.wav And so on. The number of data entries per wav files is not consistent as seen above. What I need to do is every time that C column changes, is to move things after that to the right, so wav2.wav would be moved over to columns D E and F. And then wav3.wav would be G H and I. I have a macro that finds where they change and adds a space, so it shouldn't be much of a change to then select the text and move it. Sub InsertRowAtChangeInValue() Dim lRow As Long For lRow = Cells(Cells.Rows.Count, "C").End(xlUp).Row To 2 Step -1 If Cells(lRow, "C") Cells(lRow - 1, "C") Then Rows(lRow).EntireRow.Insert Next lRow End Sub Stay high pull low
