Well if its static line then your opening may not be so bad becuase you not opening at terminal speeds...but then again I never did a static jump but I wouldnt think the opening are too bad!! Doing daily activities is one thing ...going120mph to like 10-20mph is another.... one thing is to ask a doctor ,however most doc are probably not up to speed about the sport and will give you the default answer NO!!!! But if your doing a tandem , from what I've seen most of them are pretty soft openings...TM instructors plaese jump in to varify this!! So really I think only you can answer the question of whether you should go or not!! I mean if your pretty athletic and in decent health ...go for it but only you can determine that!!! Yup..it took me awhile to get those damn line sets figured out ...but all of a sudden it just clicks and you'll get the hang of it....by the way ..the best advise for getting the canopy in the big was to cigar roll all the trash at the top right before you start your S folds...its a life saver (time saver ) for me PM me if you want the Details or ask around your DZ!! jason Freedom of speech includes volume

There was a show on TV were to guys tried this with a airline toilet to prove weather a person could get stuck on a toilet if there was any kind of back pressure ....they were unsuccesfull...so to answer your question ...the ass in question could not produce a realistic seal on the toilet...!! jason Freedom of speech includes volume

Yes its possible ..I guess I was one of the lucky ones ...I bought mine NEW ...made sure it was freefly friendly and like I stated above I have plenty of room and to downsize in it when I see fit!! jsut look at what your container can hold now and then how small it can for...again for me ..170 biggest... 135 smallest depending on pack volume..... for the amount I get to jump I'm at a 150 and it will be a looong while before I ever go down to a 135.....so it all worked out for me..and I'm sure I'm not the only one!! jason Freedom of speech includes volume

I bought new reserve , new container and used main at 17 jumps. Made sure that the container I bought gave me plenty of room to downsize in the future... Started witha PD 170 and am now down to a HOR 150!!! Figure I'll fly that for a good couple years and I can still go down to a 135 when/if I'm ready for it!! Dont know if this classifies as stupid STUDENTbut when I had about 30 jumps or so still learning about my canopy and packing and all I came into the hanger form a jump and started to flake out my nose when I noticed a big hole in my canopy ..."GOD DAMIT" I shouted!!! One of the J/M came over to see what was wrong.." I dont know how but I just tore my canopy"!!!! "F#CK" as I threw it down all pissed off.... The J/M then piccked it up to look at it and then said "Hey ...you didnt tare it....thats the port holes in the ribs..."
