Well I guess every instructors different but we had a rig laid out and the J/M went over everything and how it worked for us but like I said everyones different!! So yeah I guess as long as you know how/when to pull the handle the rest will come in time!! jason Freedom of speech includes volume

Again ..no disrespect but if that wasnt shown to you by your instructor at the time students should never jump unless they understand how there eqipment works!!! I've jumped in -22 degree weather at alt with an open face and to tell the truth that didnt even bother me ...it was the fact that I didnt where winter gloves that hurt ,,, I just had on my summer time nuemans (sp).. Really didnt feel a thing because of the adrenaline but as soon as I landed ... I did my aff in three days which I think really helped me because you get those first jump gitters kind of out of the way and can really consentrate on the dive your doing!!! I mena yeah you'll still have the gitters but then you can tell yourself "hey I just did this not 1 hr ago...piece of cake" and then relax a little more!! Not that that way is for everybody , but the people I've spoken to say its best if you can go right through it!!! Bye a cheap back pack to put it in,,,that way your still wearing it like you would if you didnt have it in anything..and you have more equal pressure then just one shoulder strap!! ... yeah I've heard of people that wear theres in the open but why raise suspition? I think it depends on currency....and what types of jumping you do.... I mean I know a jumper with 1600 jumps that I could fly circles around ..why...becuase he mostly jumps by himself on his belly or does a lot of HnP's!! In all his years of jumping he really never got into a certain disapline...he just likes to throw himself outa a plane ...and thats great for him!!! But On the flip side I know a few jumpers with around 150 to 200 jumps that make me look like a student becuase they jump more often and really attacked a disapline !!!
