  1. So as far back as I can remember, when an L&B product has an issue, you send it back, and get a replacement. This is what made them such a good company with top notch customer service.

    A friend of mine recently tried to get his audibles repaired, and was notified that SSK industries now handles L&B service in America, which charge $99 per unit being repaired

    Can anyone confirm this is true? Would be quite a disappointment after years of such fantastic service.

    In every video shown here, the pilot always pulls down on the rears. Can anyone show us a video of this canpy actually onpening well without pulling rears?



    I have over 400 jumps on a Scirocco 82. 90% of my openings were on heading ONLY when pulling on the rears and letting it snivel. This canopy is not designed to open by relaxing in the harneess . I would do this and never touch my risers on most Velo openings, but this is a different machine.

    I personally love the openings and how this canopy flies.

    Well, one of those are my home dropzone, and ever since my aff course 13 months ago, I've managed to jump a little under 300 jumps. Plenty of people here to jump with. Plenty of RW, or freefly, whatever floats your boat. Friendly atmosphere, safety oriented. So first come and give it a try. Then you can decide to say that the DZ "sucks".



    Yea I know, your are right you guys are gr8 down there. Was just a little frustrated that day when I made that post. I saw you today I'm the guy that did the refresher course with you. Didn't get to make a jump today but that's because of gear issues but you guys where gr8 about. So oops on that little comment. But I do hope to get down there a lot more often so I can meet more ppl from there.



    Haha, what are the odds? Its all good. Believe me you can start jumping here with people real quick! Always find Ron and she'll hook you up with the right people! :)

  10. Just yesterday i was trying on a rig to see how well it fits and to see if i want to buy it. It was assembled with a reserve canopy but no main. I felt the rig was small and sat way to high on me. Once i put a main canopy in it was a huge difference and it fit perfect.
    You're trying yours on with no canopies at all so i guarantee it will fit completely different when you pack it .

  13. I'm trying on a talon fs to see if I want to buy it. When all the straps are secure, there is a squeaking noise when I move around that comes from the harness and what I think is where it connects to the (hip/chest) rings. I know of another person with a another talon and I heard the same unusually loud squeaking noise when he moves around in the harness.

    Anyone know about this?
    Causes?
    Solutions?

  17. It's the weekend so I can't call them so.........

    I see on the site that you can order the main d-bag, and you can order a pilot chute. Does the bridle come with either one of them, or is it separate? There is no "bridle" you can order, yet neither the pilot chute nor the d-bag mention anything regarding a bridle.

  19. I bought a bonehead optik as my first helmet after 30 jumps, knowing i would get into camera. Its a great helmet and is ready for my camera in 50 more jumps. I jump frequently so i dont regret getting it cuz it will end up that i was jumping it only for a few months without a camera, but if it will take someone a long time to get to 200 jumps, than maybe it would be better to wait cuz there is always newer better gear coming out. The only con in my situation is that if i would of waited, i could of got the 210 instead of the regular optik, but no biggie.

  21. I couldn't find any reviews in the forums on the cx100 cage by Cookie, and i was wondering if anyone that has one can give there opinion on it.
    More specifically, has anyone side-mounted it directly to the helmet and had any problems connecting the hypeye from the inside of the helmet?
    Any opinions or reviews would be appreciated.
    I'm trying to decide on whether to just get a simple L bracket or the cage. Trying to avoid the cx boxes.

  22. Yesterday, on the first load of the Israel boogie at Skykef, a jumper had a spinning malfunction, cutaway and deployed his reserve, and found 2 canopies above his head.

    What happened was the jumper did not fully pull the cutaway pillow, causing the risers to stay attached.

    After reserve deployment, the jumper realized that his cutaway was unsuccessful. He went to complete the cutaway and safely landed his reserve.

    The rest of the day continued incident free, and I'm now heading out to the second day of the boogie! Tomorrow and Saturday is the Israeli Open Freefly Competition. Competitors include the "Skywalkers" from Norway and the "Brainpop Freefly" team from Israel.
