  1. disclaimer : I am the US dealer. :

This weekend charged it up and tried it out. The software is easy to use and worked well over 8 jumps, including beach jump. I could hear it clearly in free fall in my bonehead helmet and the canopy alarms with the visor open. I like being able to very both the alarm tone and time the alarm sounds.

  2. That's funny about hard openings, I jumped a pilot 7 and found it almost as soft as my crossfire in both in free fall loads of flare straight in landings 3-7 mph winds

  3. has not come up in a while. I came across a '99 Javelin with a spectre and a pdr (4 repacks, 1 deployment) 130 jumps on the rig. looks new. what's a fair price? everything from late "99

I normally deduct $100 a year and a buck a jump, what about everyone else?

    Thanks

  4. not all votex rigs were grounded, only the ones with the affected part. They could have sent ugly bolt on rings. They stepped up and are replacing the rigs. send me a note and I can look into it. let me know return shipping date and emails sent

  5. I have sold a couple and everyone is happy with the canopy. No one local has bought one yet. Crossfire 3 will be out before end of the year

  6. Quote

t is pretty clear that the decision to send, or not send a "post 2015" unit in won't have to be made until 2020. Kinda rushing it to put it as a poll question now?

No not at all. The fans of cypres has always said the four year check was what they liked and I wanted to see if they would put money in the check when it was not required. I too think SSK is great to work with as well.

I would not use a rigger that demanded I do something that was suggested and not required. It's your loft but I'll vote with my money and go to a different rigger. It's my rig and I have the final say period.

  7. I asked about the battery and If a unit coming in for a 4 year would be required to do a 8 year and here was the answer.....

" Any unit manufacture prior to 01/16 still requires the 4 and 8yr checks, regardless of when the last service was completed.

The battery is not field-replaceable but shouldn’t be an issue over the lifetime of the new units."

    from SSK......
