  1. Could you please also add the Prime from Fluid Wings? I've been looking to see some reviews on it. Thank you! http://fluidwings.com/prime-wing-information/
  2. I recently came across this. I tried emailing Dick, but the message got kicked back saying the account had been closed. Anyone know how I could get in touch with him? Or how I could get in touch with anyone who has the plans? That's what I'm after.
  3. I was passing through Germany and wanted to get a couple of jumps in, and this is where I ended up. Had a great time, would go back there if the option was available. The English speakers were limited, but I spoke no German going into their world, so I can't complain. Ended up asking for some help finding people to jump with me, and ended up on a great seven way. Two good size landing areas, one for North-South, one for East-West. Mild amount of off landing areas, but not in all directions. Separate hang out/outdoors waiting area for spectators, good size hanger with plenty of seating, packing and gear storage for all the jumpers. There were a few dogs walking around, staying out of the way, very tame and calm. Small but tasty selection of food on the DZ, with a small airport restaurant/cafe right out back. Plenty of parking. Great view from the sky, beautiful country. Hard to lose the DZ in freefall, the only yellow roof stands out pretty well. All in all had a great time, definitely a stop you should make if traveling near by with your rig.
  4. Plenty big landing area. Swoop/high performance lane. Large packing area. Two aircraft for when it's busy. Nice facilities overall. I thought this place was great. Nice layout, very clean and all that jazz. I'm from a smaller DZ, so for me the layout and facilities were really nice, but it still gave me the small DZ feel. I got a hand up making friends coming in as a jumper visiting for a little over a month, but all the same made good friends with the regulars. Everyone I asked was more than open to either jump with me or invite me on theirs. There is all the right type of people there for a great time, if you want to do something crazy, learn/improve techniques, or just have fun (when do you ever not, right?) there is always someone around to jump with. I had mixed feelings about the scenery, but if I had to give it thumbs up or down, I'd go with up. In the immediate area, there is a lot of brown, which just isn't my thing, not the DZ's fault of course, that's just how it is. Most mornings though, and sometimes through the day, there is a low layer of fog/haze on the ground that you would never notice when you're in it, but at altitude it hangs low between the large hills/small mountains, and just looks incredible. There were a few perfect days like that where I looked out the door and it gave me that feeling of "I will never question why I love this", which is not something all people can easily find. I found some of the prices for students/rental gear a little odd, but with different DZ's that's just going to happen. Also I had my own gear, so it was just an in and out observation for me. The one and only real complaint I had about this place was the port-a-potties. Not theirs specifically, I just really don't like them. Oh well I suppose. All around, big thumbs up. Great people, great place, great times. Blue Skies.
  5. I went there because it was easy for me to get to. I'm a big fan of smaller DZ's rather than bigger and more commercialized places, so I thought this place was pretty sweet. Sadly I found out they're a tandem only DZ. One Cessna 206. Very small, sharing a building. Very friendly though, overall I give it a thumbs up.
  6. I'm wondering if anyone has chased a soda can or small bottle? If so, can you keep up belly flying or do you have to free fly to stay on level? I'd like to have some inputs before I try to do it on my own and have a soda can go through someone's roof.
