I have been away from the forum but have not given up the idea of a Tandem! I am planning on it this spring. My husband is proud of me for wanting to do a Tandem. I still say they will have to pry my fingers from OPEN door on plane. I want to jump from the plane so bad and enjoy the freedom of the freefall. My nephew says there is nothing like it! Boy I missed alot while at work! My nephew showed me the page on ebay. I said whoa here I got to write something about this. I got tickled when I seen all the pages of posts all ready on this topic. I got to say it looks like everyone took the words right out of my mouth. My nephew is working hard for his A License (4 jumps away) and starting to save money for all his gear. I guess he will be able to hold his head up knowing he worked hard for his hobby. I am proud of him! I have been to a dz watching my nephew jump. My favorite part was watching the tandems land with the smiles from ear to ear. I have seen all ages do the tandem! They are why I want to do a tandem. I have been on youtube watching those to. I can't seem to find anything that looks like it would be more fun than jumping from a plane! Was at the beach one summer and my brother and I were riding waves when a jellyfish landed on his arm! He freaks out and grabs it and blindly throws it and it brushes my arm as it goes by. I am 42 and am going to do a Tandem jump with some friends either in the fall or spring time. I am hooked from going and watching my nephew do his jumps. I can't wait to do my Tandem so I will understand the high he gets from the free fall. Who knows I may get hooked like him.
