I don't see what the big deal is. I lurk tandems all the time. (Mostly I just blow by them trying to get big.) **say what??** With this statement you prove that "a" you dont have the skill to jump with tandems, and "b" you lack the mental clarity to keep yourself from becoming a hazard to them. That tandem is paying for a ride......a fun ride.....not a ride from hell, which a rookie with an overinflated ego could quite easily turn it into. **>I usually will track over and then wave as I go by great- just -great, so your using them for target practice.... expounding upon what the professor has already stated when you are in a stand/sit/ or head down your speed is much greater than when your on your belly or back, so if you suddenly go from your stand/sit/ or head down to belly or back your speed drastically slows....... if one of your partners are above you when this happens baaaad juju Roy They say I suffer from insanity.... I havent had any problems "YET"......... I have flown out of seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Yakima, Las Vegas. Only once have they (baggage screeners) ever looked more than once was in Vegas when they backed the x-ray belt up twice and asked what was in the bag, when I told them they let me go after swabbing the zipper and doing their chemical screening........ If you get yourself a triathlon with the crw mods (reinforced with a retractable pilot chute) and a standard slider (no mesh) I believe this could be what you are looking for, Taking a lightning or prodigy to terminal is a good way to support your chiropractors children through college. The triathlon has good drive depending on your wing loading of course, its an extremely stable canopy in turbulance. There seems to be a bit of mud-slinging/oneup manship going on here on the base forum, take it with a grain of salt, each is only trying in thier way to deal with thier pain, some seem to find the path of anger easiest. I have a 85 fx for a main, and a 120 micro raven for a reserve, it was a 150 tempo but me and my girlfriend swapped our reserves so she could have a larger reserve. I would prefer a larger reserve myself, but we could not afford to purchase her a new one. My wingloading on it is 1.4.......... the stall point is probably going to be viscious and brutal, but I prefer to be under it rather than take the chance of her being under it at 1.2....but I am (barely) within the upper guidelines of the manufacturer.
