I'm sure there is a clause in their insurance for this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Force_majeure

So how are the jumps going?
-
They were probably still leg-locked at that point, don't give the kid too much credit!
-
You have it all wrong. You're not cool until you have 2000 jumps
-
They start this week
-
Or just land it with a twist in the risers. I've done that.

Good judgment comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.

Hold on to the toggles when doing this, then you won't have to untangle it (Got that T-shirt)

Just crack a beer on the coach and put on Spike Jonse's Pat-Yat-Chee

I still don;t understand how this can not be a rip off, at $300/mo you would have to live for > 138 years for them to break even even if they invested the $$ and made 7-10% the numbers don't seem to work.

Funny thing Remmi, I was doing an observer ride in an Otter this last weekend, PIC cut way back and the floaters were out there for quite a while, she started shaking a little but never needed positive control to avoid a stall, I was really surprised how little rudder was needed with 6 floaters out too. no airplane is stable with a bunch of floaters hanging out the side. I've been in more than one stall in a 750 I was wondering what he meant by that... Personally, as a jumper, gimme an Otter any day... -

Taking Up Skydiving in Mid-life
jsaxton replied to Fruitfly's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I started @ 42 years old. I am now 52. I have somewhere between 2500 and 3000 skydives (heck, who counts) I was a participant in the 2007 POPS world record, 2009 Florida POPS record, 2009 Nevada State Record and the 2009 Mens world record. Don't think that you have to start in your 20s to do some awesome skydiving.
