  1. http://sws.aero/en/products/accessories/ that kind of risers are sold also. i don't have anything bad to say about these risers.
  2. have you considered the option that you have heard all the beeps, but just because the break off and stuff around that is bit more hectic, than the freefall itself, that you just didn't register that you really heard the audible? as you have listed to yourself "only" 100 jumps i would think that as an possible cause..
  3. Parachutes de france and you Brian aren't the only ones with this thought: http://unitedparachutetechnologies.com/PDF/Support/Sport/ALTERNATIVE_MAIN_CONTAINER_CLOSING_TIP_INSTRUCT-027_Rev-0.pdf
  4. i'm not sure, but i think you are talking about some of those hi-end cams(500 or 700 or something) sony has published that has some b.o.s.e stabilization witch is suitable for skydiving and also has quite wide lens without external lend added...
  5. you didn't ask this, but i'll reply anyway :D the cx 200 series don't have thread for wide lens, so i wouldn't buy one for skydiving...
  6. http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/294760_276667689012588_100000080764608_1183810_479507_n.jpg here's a pic of my helmet. not maybe the best angle, but you'll get the idea.. gopro is mounted with: http://www.elitektm.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/photo15.jpg the clip part is screwed away and rest is bolted inside the helmets forehead. it was also modded a bit with sandpaper to not feel unpleasant through the padding to my forehead. you can't see the gopro on sonys video, but it's really close that it would. cam on top is cx115 with baby death lens.
  7. has anyone noticed that none of those models are listed on gethypoxic.com? there must be a reason for that?
  8. was the canopy xf1 or xf2? didn't the first version have some kind of problems causing collapsing that was fixed with new trim in lines or something?
  9. i definitely agree with you.. i just cannot imagine why someone with this little experience has to be trolling in every topic even if he had nothing to add to conversation... (my post isn't adding either and i do have quite a little experience too, but i think it ruins many good topics when someone starts arguing about non important things just to get to say something...)
  10. i think only thing changed in the UI is backlight control. everything else seems to be the same
  11. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3877244;search_string=cameye%20adapter;#3877244 there's a guy who makes adapters so you can use cameye2 with newer camcorders
  12. funny that the original poster asked for skydiving canopies that are used for GL, but the nearly everyone tells about their paragliders etc.. i have only experience about sabre 150 and heatwave 150 sabre is a pain in the ass even to get up from ground, but heatwave worked much better. i would say that if you want to use some skydiving canopy to gl, find yourself a stiletto or equivalent(heatwave, contrail?) canopy with flat glide..
  13. hello everyone. i was wondering that if viso in student mode can identify hop n pops is there some reason not to use student mode all the time.? what i'm trying to say: is there some negative things about using the student mode in "normal" lenght freefall jumps? thanks..
