The EPA 'thinks' they are helping us.... yet they are destroying us, truly. They are very stupid. Last I checked, we have clean air and water throughout the country, other than an occasional dust storm ( which they would ban if they could ). It is tragic in any case. Investigators look at facts such as: left wallet and ID at home, Did they take a cellphone ? Take some coins for using a phone if need be ? did the person go on solo hikes as a rule ? at night ? ( if it was night ). Did they climb up onto something with no climbing gear such as ropes, or gloves, in a situation that might be totally foolish if one planned on surviving the hike. Circumstantial evidence to be sure. I have seen this stuff in skydiving with someone that I knew well. Not speaking to details of this loss, as I don't know.

That pilot will feel bad forever. You can't allow anyone who is not extremely knowledgeable about aircraft to deplane with the engine running. Of course, it is risky in any event. That is some accident report ! I never heard or thought about passengers falling into the cockpit during a dive, does not help the pilots, that's for sure. I could not tell if the gear was down, from the report. I would try hard to get gear down, and power reduced.

I had a Dyna Wide Glide and it was quite nice. Now I am on my second Honda VTX 1800 and it suits me well as I like to ride country roads on weekends for a couple of hundred miles. It is set up like a bagger. Now, it is big and heavy, not an issue on the highways, but a factor for in town riding.

I can tell you from experience that incompetence is gonna bite you..... they will 'forget' to send you the paper work for 6 weeks, then you have to pay for 6 weeks that you could not use, it goes on and on and on, the hassle. Go visit your employer and as for the manager of HR or benefits. Other wise you will lose a month or 2, but you will pay for it in the end. Go down there.
