  1. Do you have any information about the tunnel in Sion? I heard it should open in a few weeks now (January if I'm correct) but I can't seem to find any solid info on the net.
  2. Some cool jumps with friends during hollydays. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUlHX2XO1K8&hd=1
  3. In France there is a key chart limiting the wingload from 0 to 600 jumps. Document can be found here: http://www.ffp.asso.fr/IMG/pdf/U_surface_minimale_des_voiles-2.pdf I know that a big change is being prepared, but for next year.
  4. I was not there last year. Feedback I had from friends who jumped there was awesome. So I decided to see for myself and go there.
  5. Would a 120 EVS allow a 135 (ZP or hurricane for example)?
  6. What's the approximate packed volume of a velo 90?
  7. Hey, Would a hurricane 135 fit in a Vortex2 120 EVS? Thx,
  8. Exactly the same! I just got my second V2, and I hear about his V3....
  9. What would you recommend then? I won't be jumping with a 120 before a few months, so i ave time!
  10. Hi guys, In the process of learning swooping, I am thinking about my next gear (not before ~100 more jumps on my current gear). ~500 jumps, 160 lbs I'm jumping today with Hurricane 135, and I like it a lot. I've done 90° turns for a few hundred jumps, I'm now in the 180° (I hate them), and will soon start 270°s. What would you advise as next gear: same canopy, downsized, or a more modern profile such as a Xfire, or Katana (or anything else that you would recommend); Thx for your help!
  11. According to your experience, is it possible to put a Crossfire2 129 in VortexII 120 EHS container? What is the max canopy size that you have ever fitted in a VortexII 120 EHS (designed for 120ft² canopies)
  12. I was exactly asking myself thé same question.... Anyone with some answers???
  13. Had mine for 2 years. Scratched the back in tunnel (as a beginner), was replaced for 10$ in the shop. Very good suit, perfect fit and excellent customer service.
  14. Thank you guys for your help. Right now I'm looking for old risers to prepare mine. Just another question: what is the flying sequence? - HD exit, and tube deploys right from the start, or is there any way no to have it deployed as soon as you exit? - For the opening sequence, no difference from a normal HD jump? Thx!
  15. Exactly what I was looking for! Any pics while flying? With this fixation system, considering the amount of drag coming from the tube, the whole fixation never slipped away?
  16. Hi all, I'm preparing 2 tubes, one for HU, one for HD. The HU one is pretty straightforward, but I'm struggling with the foot attachment of the HD one. I heard it should be done as a skysurf foot fixation, but I don't have a detailed idea of how it designed. Onyone with more experience or information?
  17. Anyone? Just finished my sit tube, which is just fine, and preparing my HD one. Any pics of the foot attachement, with the release system? Thx!
  18. I think with a combination of: - the rght jump suit (baggy & cordura) - the right position (daffy, on your knees) you'll fligh just as slow as some light weight ladies
  19. and when do you roughly start to move on from sit fly to HD?
  20. Thx for the info. As far as I am concerned, it spent roughly 1 hour on my back, and 1 hour on the net working on back/sit transitions and starting back carving before being stable HU. I've been since then working on moves in all directions and continued back carving. Spent 10 minutes HD on the net so far. (I've spend 3 1/2 hours in the tunnel), and I have another 3 hous planned till end of march. I hope by then I'll be flying HD of the net!
  21. Anybody else can describe their tunnel progression? Just for beginners to understand the necessary investment before being able to fly HU and HD?
  22. Yes but what are the statistics showing? eg. : 90% of the guys need more than x hours to be able to start being stable in HD position
  23. Congrats to Team4speed, who won the world championship in russia. Tight fight with the US up until the last jump!
