  1. Then she had plenty of time to pull over. The guy in the truck was a total tool, no doubt. But I view this woman, who *appears* to be an instigator, in the same light. Dangerous, and a tool. She unnecessarily escalated a situation. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team

  3. Bullshit, and a reason I am particular about what packers I use (when I use them, and it's rare). I expect people to take pride in their job, and do the best they can. The expressed mindset is a pet peeve of mine, and totally unacceptable IMO. I absolutely will not use a packer that says the above, ever. If you aren't going to pack it like you're going to jump it - stay away from my rig. That said, JUMPING means that sometimes strange shit is gonna happen from time to time, and you just have to accept that - whether you use a packer or not. Imagine if your rigger said that line of bullshit to you regarding your reserve? Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  4. It's generally the opposite from what you're saying is my experience. The Pulse is much faster on the turns (like a ST) and the KA is sluggish on the turns, but divey (like a VE). If you want fast turns and flat glide, the pulse is a great canopy to look at. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  5. I'd go with the best customer service vs cheapest (in any product I buy). Performance Designs Factory Team
  6. It has been my experience that when people struggle with this, it has almost everything to do with their mechanical flare technique and simply adjusting the way they use their leverage fixes the problem. For example lots of people flare with their arms in front of them in a downward tricep motion. Simply moving their arms closer to them helps (hard to explain without pictures) Performance Designs Factory Team

  10. Then you haven't been paying attention, Justin. There are been some SERIOUSLY hard impacts with injuries ranging from the post above, to torn abdominal muscles, to ego. Small "skips" hurt like hell under these wings at these speeds. More to come, I'm sure of it. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  11. Not sure I agree with you 100% there. The problem is that people are downsizing aggressively as well when changing to the wing. If all people were doing were lateral moves, then yes I think the increased risk is minimal. Reality is, people aren't and are generally loading well above 3.0 now. 12. Would you believe he is my representative? He has my vote next election. I know you aren't, but you should be ashamed of the way you celebrate this kind of ignorance. Performance Designs Factory Team
  13. I'd suggest looking at a modified schedule. One that doesn't bombard the poor child with quite so much at one time as the regular schedule does. Travel is another consideration too (for example we accelerated my son's vaccinations due to international travel) but my daughter was on a more relaxed schedule. IMO people take vaccinations far too lightly, but also I believe that you cannot simply ignore their benefits and have to make informed decisions that are best for your family. In a nutshell: I believe you need to vaccinate, but I do not believe the current US vaccination 'schedule' is appropriate and it can be stretched out quite a bit depending on lifestyle and travel choices. 16. Our FlySites show us in the mid 90's (for landing, higher speeds at altitude). That said, the vertical data component is best measured by a true data logger. I'll ask the guys who've done some jumps with them as to what they've found. Performance Designs Factory Team
  17. ahahahahahahahahhaha. h hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah Thanks for this mornings entertainment. Knew I could count on you But seriously, if you want to take a look at the real problem - stare in the mirror. You're as unbending as one can be. Don't think I've ever seen you do anything other than tow a party line. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team

  21. Because a "15-16" year old doesn't know their ass from the elbow, and is in NO position to be married and/or raise a child. Hell, they ARE still a child. It's pretty simple. Performance Designs Factory Team
  22. Couple hundred when I met him. I know Pablo worked with him in Dubai too. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  23. Most people in their 30's have no idea who they are, let alone some 15-16 year old kid. Marriage, at that age, is a ridiculous notion. They'd be better spending those years finding themselves. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
