  1. ahh... we like our tube of pleasure... it might be 12 feet but that doesn't stop us from doing a 12 way head down! ;) Huck Jam at SVNH tunnel comp 2012.
Hope you can come and visit our AMAZING new expansion when it is done. :)

  2. News from SkyVenture NH... for anyone that has not been in lately or is wondering what all the construction is at SkyVenture NH.
SVNH is pleased to announce that our 11 thousand foot expansion is well underway and we are looking to open april / may 2013. We are adding a 32 foot Surfstream to our line up. It is the first in the US and the largest in the world.B| The Surfstream is the only machine that you ride a regular surf board and produces three waves found in nature. It has a training wave, an oscillating river wave ( which you can kayak also ) and a 6 foot standing barrel with 28 feet of face to carve on right or left. Our new Surf's Up project also includes our Fishpipe, Rock Wall, Oasis food cafe, surf side party room, gift shop and more! All of this under one big retractable roof and decked out carribean style with real palm trees. So in 2013 you will not only be able to FLY at SVNH but you can hang out in our new tropical paradise. :)

  3. Soon YOU will be able to SURF and FLY at SVNH. We are still busy planning our new addition of indoor surfing coming 2012.;) The house next to the tunnel will be flattened soon and the sewer pipe moved to make way for the surfstream.

For those of you who have not been to the tunnel lately be sure and come check out and ride our fishpipe. The fishpipe will be on site until it gets cold in mid September. If you don't know what it is... check out the website. www.fishpipenh.com
It is nothing but FUN. Plan on getting wet and bring a towel :)

As always we are busy with our Freefly coaching. Joe Winters is here every 2 weeks and he books up quickly. So call in advance if you would like to get some coaching from Joe.

We will be offering up some great double digit weekday specials during August and a summer sizzler special. So check it out on Facebook or our website.http://www.skyventurenh.com/wordpress/

SVNH 2012 membership is now for sale. See the tunnel time classifieds for details please. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/classifieds/detail_page.cgi?ID=113615;d=1 for details.

We will be setting the dates for the December Tunnel Comp soon. Last year we had a record turn out and lots of good fun!

    Stay safe and Blue Skies!

  4. We have done a bunch of R&D at our tunnel and the Ouragan suits stand up better than any other suit. If you plan to do a good amount of time in the tunnel then you really should think about a sky/tunnel suit without spandex. The amount of drag is kind of on you.. and also which tunnel that you choose to fly in. SVNH is a fast tunnel and requires less drag. A slower tunnel like orlando would require more drag. Depending on your build and level will also factor in the amount of drag that you want. You could always talk to the instructors that are helping you with your head down and ask them what amount of drag that would be most helpful to you. Good luck!:)

  5. The weather is good and the summer is here... so it is shaping up for a great summer in the sky and tunnel!;)

Skyventure NH is pleased to announce our membership see

Don't forget if you are looking for a hotel when you are at SVNH the Radisson gives us a great rate of $59.00 plus tax. Be sure to mention that you are flying with us.

As always at SVNH we provide true tunnel time on all of your blocks. So if you buy 30 minutes you get 30 minutes. Your tunnel time does not start until the first person enters the airflow. Giving you more AIR time!:)
Coming soon.... details on our summer give away raffle!B|

  6. I believe that Pepperell does the skydive U aff style coarse.

Give them a call... I saw Rob from Skydive U there this weekend and I know they bring their students to our tunnel. www.skyventurenh.com
We help many aff students with their progress. If you decide to book some time at our tunnel make sure that you let the front desk know when booking what your goals are and we are always happy to help.
    Blue Skies!

We will be finishing up the Raffle for Instructor Brad Fresia ( who had to have emergency surgery last year ) and doing the drawing for 3 - 30 minute blocks of Tunnel Time on Friday June 11th, 2010. We had to hold off on the drawing due to we were not even close to meeting our goal of $2500.00 for Brad towards his medical bills. So far we have raised $1800.00 to date. So... if you would like to get in on the raffle stop by or give us a call to get a ticket. Tickets are $20.00 ea.

If you would like to work on your summer jumping skills... especially freefly.. Joe Winters is providing world class coaching at our facility every 2 weeks. If you would like to book some time with Joe in June he will be here until June 15th.

SVNH is also a proud to be a sponsor of TEAM SCARECROW! We think those boys will tear up the sky this year at Nationals. Not only are they good flyers but they are nicest guys you could ever meet!:)

    Blue Skies and safe jumping!B|

  8. The #1 thing is customer safety.B| I understand that it may be a little harder to do. It could be a bad day if someone was up high ( our tunnel is 45 feet to the top ) and they had a shoulder dislocate. Playing it safe is always the best route.:)

  9. Yes... we would let you fly. You would have to sign an additional waiver saying that you understand the risks of flying with a prior dislocation. It is also important to let the instructor know so that he is aware of it. Not just at my tunnel but at any tunnel for your safety. We would also want you to stay within the glass section when flying.
    Hope that helps. :)

  10. The only injuries that we have had are 8 shoulder dislocations... all of them were customers ( first time flyers ) that had previous shoulder dislocations and when asked when checking in and in the class room they did not disclose it.
You would have to ask each tunnel to get the answer that you are looking for. Not sure if they will tell you.. especially if there is a lawsuit going on.

  11. We have allowed them at SkyVenture NH as long as all medal hardware is covered. I saw one a while back that was made ( maybe by a rig company ) that was really nice. Keep looking they are out there.

  12. Well... old mother winter is upon us dumping 8" of snow yesterday 12/9.:S It is sure to be a white Christmas. The staff and myself would like to wish everyone Happy Holidays!:)
We will be announcing our customer of the month so stay tuned it could be YOU!

Joe Winters will be at SVNH until the 21st if anyone is looking for some great freefly coaching. Call the tunnel to set up time in advance.

Have a great skydiving picture that you would like to make into a christmas card? Come by and check out our custom tunnel christmas card options. These are not your run of the mill cards they were created by us. We even have frosty flying in a tunnel!

SVNH Memberships - For anyone that still has questions are membership is still for sale until December 31, 09. Call the tunnel for details or check out our website.. http://www.skyventurenh.com/wordpress/?page_id=2

Gift cards are FLYING out the door. If you are looking for a great gift for a family member that may not understand your habit of jumping out of a plane.... they might like a flight! Who knows maybe they will be up for a real skydive after that.

Thanks again to everyone that made the NH Tunnel Meet a great event!

    Blue Skies!

  13. For those of you who did not read the VFS post here it is....

Wow,,,,, It was an awesome event! A big thanks to Ben, Ari, Jim, Butch, Stacey and Sara for all of the help and support that they provided. Also thanks to my staff for working late nights. It was great to see so many people at the event. We will definately plan another one in the future. We are working on a video at the moment of the event and will put details out there when we finish it. I do have master copies of all of the rounds if someone needs one. Please feel free to contact me. We will also be posting photo's of the event and will give you details soon.
On a side note our youngest competitor was Josh Chasse at age 13 and he did a great job. He woke up that morning thinking that he didn't want to go due to nerves... but did and won first place in intermediate. So.. I would also like to thank all of the people that made Josh feel welcome. He is a shy guy and it helped him more than you will ever know.
So thanks again to all of you who came and we look forward to seeing you at the next one!
