    Skydive The Farm

Over the last 2 years I have travelled to many drop zones across the world and have to say, this is one of the best. The staff were very accommodating as it was the first time I jumped at the DZ and needed rental gear. I was even asked if i wanted a coffee! I was immediately approached by Bruce, a load organizer and asked what type of flying I was intending to do and volunteered to jump! Before starting to organise a large flat flying group he introduced me to another load organizer for free flying, Ben Griswold. As a new face, I was approached by numerous members of staff throughout the day, a very rare thing in skydiving! In summary……. Friendly owner, efficient manifest, nice food, well stocked gear store, great rigging loft, helpful packers, excellent load organizers, friendly fun jumpers, and twin otter. After spending just a day at the farm, I can't think of a reason NOT to visit and jump!
  2. So many Freefly suit vendors on the market these days, I had no idea which one to go with. Done some research and Ourgan seemed to be on top with the quality however on the pricey side. But looking at the multiple options and designs availble I thought I'd give them ago. Afterall, how many suits am I actually going to buy in my life time! I had many questions regarding materials, options, designs so i emailed Ouragan, they got back to me straight away and we exchanged about 15 mails. Ouragan looked at the measurements on my form, the seemstress requested a web cam session so we could re-take some measurements with her supervision. Very impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail. I paid the extra for a rush order and within 3 weeks my suit was at my door. Worth every bit of money and the customer service really go that extra mile. I recommend Ouragan Paul from the UK
  3. I had a spare weekend while working in the states. Being from the UK with about 100 jumps and never visited another drop zone, I was a little daunted turning up by myself but thought I'd go down anyway. However, rocked up with my gear first thing in the morning, greeted by welcoming staff and every fun jumper said hi. Gear check, paperwork and DZ brief, I was on lift two! Lift five I was doing 4 ways with Mad Jon and lift 7 was a 9 way for a birthday celebration. Then we ordered in Tacos for lunch, jumped all afternoon and then had a great party once the jumping stopped. (free beer - result!) Literally, one of the best skydiving weekends ever and that was a quiet weekend for the Byron crew. I sat down with Clay the DZ Owner, he has a great outlook on how a drop zone should be run and I recommend anyone to pop in and experience the 'Byron Love' Thanks guys, I hope to return Paul from the UK The one with the bright yellow trainers!
