so i have a friend who i jump with but over the past 5-6 months hes made about 2-3 jumps in 1 day (about 160 total) i started joking around that he needed to do some sort of re-currency jump and we would kinda laugh about it as its gotten further and further away since his last jump, now about 4 months since any jump at all, ive become a little more serious about him doing a re-currency jump and he just seems to be getting more annoyed were both students and hes taking some pretty hard classes and working full time so i cant blame him for being out there every weekend. but never the less its still been 6 months since he was jumping regularly and 4 months since his last jump at all. im not trying to be a dick to him, i just dont want to be the one who has to go get the splatula to dig him out of a creator. any thoughts on how i should tell him that he really needs to? i was talking to a canaidan jumper once and he said that the CSPA will respect a USPA as one less than their own IE if you have a USPA D you would have a CSPA C and so on... (just what ive heard, nothing to back it up. so take it for a grain of salt) also doesnt the CSPA have like an E and an F license? Jump more, Bitch less.

what happened to the jumper the OP posted about? my 2 cents on a point brought up earlier about those who progress faster than average and starting at a young age: IMO theres a difference between someone who watches nitro circus and think hes travis pastrana and someone who has participated in high risk activities their whole life. assuming both people have been in the sport the same amount of time i think it is fare to say that the guy who has a background of racing 125 shifters, 450four strokes and races downhill bikes is going to be significantly better with the same amount of coaching at a given number of jumps than the guy who just watched it on TV. its just like having a job, related experience applies tremendously as opposed to someone with none at all Jump more, Bitch less.

im gonna agree with skyrider and say Rugby for the team sport category all the way, no pads no helmets and they hit harder than any other sport ive seen, im sure any of you who've seen a few All Blacks games can agree with me. for open category, with out a doubt ultimate fighting with out a doubt. and just cause ur sport has more serious injuries and deaths in it does make ur sport in anyway "cooler" than the others. we of all people should know this. altho i will give it to Ronnie Lott if anyone wants to talk about who's tougher than who.
