Loved my visits to Tahoe and Aja had a great PAC that she didnt mid whipping out even if the load wasnt full..... The airport folks there in Minden were douches to the skydivers. Scenery was awesome there hope someone gets another DZ going there.

Don't forget tension knots. Make sure you untwist your brake lines on a regular basis.

On a cool Feb day here in Southern Germany I was in a Turbo 206 that was climbing at about 1350 fpm till about 1100 and about 1000 fpm until 17000 according to my suunto and altimeter. Again it was a cool day low DA and I think only 3 jumpers plus pilot.
That thing climbs like a raped ape.

Dont know much about comparing it to a sabre 2, But I do have about 150 jumps on my old Fusion 210 loaded at 1:1 and I was happy with it. It was a fairly docile canopy at my WL, it had awesome super soft openings that were almost always on heading.

Again I wasnt at a high WL, so I was not doing any hi perf landings on it.
The black microlines it came with did look pretty seet though.

I hate wearing gloves, but when I have to I wear due to the cold I wear a pair of the thin Military flight gloves with latex surgeons gloves underneath to protect from the wind. Dexterity is bueno with that combination.

I really hate gloves... I constantly get crap at work for not wearing my flight gloves when I fly....... It just doesnt feel natural wearing em.

You might want to call ahead to see if they have the colors you want in stock first. I ordered a canopy about 6 months ago and they were really limited on what colors were in stock.

I didnt get the ZPX fabric because I was downsizing from a 210 to a 168 and needed the pack volume for my container.

Skydive live! In defuniak springs Just north of Ft Walton Beach FL is an awesome 182 dropzone that took off last year. $20 lift tix and free lunch on the grill by the DZO. I wish this place opened up earlier as I have moved away since.

Ive got one with about 100 or so jumps on it. Bought it from him at skyfest 2 years ago. Great for fat guys like me trying to slow up my fall rate..... as for quality I have had one seam blow out just above the mesh area above a bootie. I didnt order from him online, just bought off the rack new. He did give me a military discount. I have heard several horror stories about his turnaround time and customer service though. I do like the suit though.

Mike is probably one of the most respected riggers on the US. I have had several repacks done there by him or his staff. I had a cutaway and they were awesome about getting me a new freebag ordered. About 3 weeks later mike emailed me saying they found my old one and saved it for me for the next time I was up that way. Miki just repacked my reserve after a trip overseas and shipped it to me next day so I could jump. I was not expecting that one. Mike has also installed swoop cords for me and made repairs to my slider with nothing but quality work slingin the sewing machine around!

I have bought tons of equipment there and J is currently working though a canopy manufacturer issue with me and has been nothing but helpful. He will go the extra mile for you when ordering a custom item! He has worked with me several times on getting me the best prices/ discounts as well.

I know it has been said a million times before on here, but they are probably the best place to get info buy gear or just bullshit with!

I only buy through them and use them for rigging needs.

Great lil 182 DZ! You might want to call before you make the drive over. A few times I drove up from Enterprise area to find out nobody was there that day.
A lot of the guys that jump there travel between there and the Farm as well.
Buddy does have a fun lil dropzone there.
