  1. Ganja I miss you brother, you always made me smile and laugh. I'm glad we got to talk some over the last few days you were here. There is no way I could take those boots, no one can fill them. Love and respect, Pfuego PS Perra, do you have a link for the fund yet?

Well done Bax, U DA MAN!!!!!!!
  3. ??? I don't uderstand that statement, are you referring to the canopy surging, or something with the PC? and why? THanks Blair
  4. Then I guess you are NOT in San Diego as your profile suggests? Where are you located? Blair

    Dynamic Corners

Its not necessary, but then again, neither is a 9 foot bridle, or a pin rig. Let me ask you this..... Why would you NOT retrofit your warlock with this option? Later Blair
  6. ***Keep the list in the light and the sport in the dark, which is where it belongs.- BASE 515 *** Amen brother.
  7. Hell yea, that's nice!
  8. Yo, I wanted to share this from a video I took yesterday. The tandem passenger was Johnny's bandmate, Kelly. Chuck was TM, DosXX on cameras, Bandolero, Cheeto and myself were out there with them. And Gus helped set him free. We miss you brother, enjoy your jump over the Gulf
  9. Man that looked like a BLAST!!! What an aircraft! I have some feedback...more BOLAS, he makes every video better.
  10. Looking for local contact and hoping for some hospitality
  11. yes thanks that makes cents, it looked like something different to me. my mistake, Blair
  12. Damn that's a sweet suit, one of the sweetest looking suits I've ever seen. I am curious about the even sweeter PC handle your rig.. which looks like a BASE rig to me. Do you regularly jump that configuration and if so do you worry about death from a pc malfunction? Later Blair
  13. I got to be honest with you man, I'm not a 100% in love with your tone right now....
  14. Space, Do you reckon all that 'wind'(for lack of not knowing) from the water flow has an effect on those openings as well? Thanks Blair

    height evaluation

Now THAT statement I agree with !! have to deal with heading performance and deployment hesitations.*** The latter applies, I believe, to ALL jumps.. Blair

    height evaluation

I feel that statement is inherently flawed...

    wingsuite base

I had ~200 WS skydives on GTI, and about 150 total BASE jumps, then I took the GTI off an A from about 1800' one night. Good luck, it is SO fun! Blair
  18. RIP brother, prayers and condolences to family and friends. Blair
  19. O U live at IDIOT'S/Jackass' corner..?
  20. In my limited experience, I think most body armor, knee pads, etc have a lip, or at least, a velcro closure or SOMETHING that could potentially snag a bridle, line, PC mesh..etc etc. I wear all my body armor under clothing on every jump. Even with a thin shirt though, there still may be some snag danger? The bright side is walking around looking like a storm trooper.
  21. Yo, For me, around 1200' is as low as I want, I believe anything lower is not going to yield much WS flight performance..FOR ME. That's not to say I wouldn't huck from a grand with my Prodigy, I just don't expect much. There are pilots who can fly far from 1000', but I think they are are mostly Russian..err I mean American and Croation . I have flights from 1200'-1950+' from A's and I just do a normal exit....for me.. Collapsed wings, launch out hard head high a little, slowly spread arms to balance, as my head comes down toward parallel with earth, I extend my legs and fly away. All of my WS A jumps are at night so I don't have any video, and all were with GTI. I think winds are an issue on the bigger suits, but if you stay collapsed long enough, I wouldn't worry about it. Getting a little vertical speed FIRST helps me with stable exits. Of course if you are going from something low, you may emphasize flying faster than falling..? Anyways, only example I have of what I'm saying is from a cliff in mexico, check it here http://baserigs.com/docs/photo-video/video/docs/EGWS1.MPG I learned alot on that flight. And to echo what 570 said about climbing around on A's....well, he's seen me, its sketchey. I have this fear that the button from my bootie is going to catch in the grating on the platfrom as I launch, sending me into a cartwheeling ping ponging fall down the face of the steel At least that's one scenario I've thought about while riding up. Climbing any ladder with your legwing stowed is a bitch cause you don't want to tear it on anything etc. But I have exited from both platforms and structure, obviously its easier to waddle to the edge, but I can get more altitude usually by climbing higher and exiting from the structure. Lastly, its the best fun out there so enjoy
