  1. There are adapters for micro memory stick to memory stick. With one of those you could plug internal micro card into external memory slot on the camera and see if that works. I don't know if you can buy them separate but you can find cheap memory stick micro card with adapter included on ebay. I understand the need for conformity. 2. So... about that video... I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense. -David Thorne
  3. "...someone not so interested in flying a cam?" Bolded the relevant part for you. I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense. -David Thorne
  4. I hope makers of roadrunner and wiley e coyote are reading this. These ideas would make one heck of a cartoon. I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense. -David Thorne
  5. The lightest "thing" you could put inside a wing would be... well... nothing. A suit full of purified nothing. Sometimes its called vacuum, but generally still referred to as nothing. And it weights... nothing! As far as compressing gases and their densities you really should read some physics 101. From wikipedia: "This form of the ideal gas law is very useful because it links pressure, density ρ = m/V, and temperature in a unique formula independent from the quantity of the considered gas." 6. So... kill a guy because you think that you might be at a potential risk from... something not defined yet. I'm guessing Russians (or their modern communist equivalent) invading US or something. In other words: kill a guy for not doing anything illegal or causing any deaths or injuries. Just because you favorite TV clown said so. On the other hand, I don't see anyone demanding actions taken against people calling for this guys death. AFAIK calling for someones death IS illegal even in great, free nations such as USofA. The mystery of why these people are not dealt with the same way everyone else would be. I guess some are a little tiny bit more free (and a lot greater) that the rest of earths (or US' for that matter) population. BTW, that clintons speech in china in Jan 2010 sounds priceless if you compare it to her recent statements. For everything else, there is mastercard (well, not anymore ). 7. .. and will lose both. Ben Franklin I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense. -David Thorne
  8. Click on the first link I posted. There are instructions on how to get to the internal memory (internal memory card) which can be replaced with 16GB card. Cheap upgrade for double the memory :) I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense. -David Thorne
  9. That is correct. And I still would like to see that video... I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense. -David Thorne
  10. Eh? Which part of Sandisk memory stick micro card did you not get? It is a memory stick card (the one sony really really likes) shrunk down to micro size. It is also very similar to micro SD card, but slightly wider and has 10 pins instead of 8. Rings a bell? Here, link to pdf with pin layout. I can also link you a wiki page if you still don't get it... I understand the need for conformity. 11. I found this on google... Your friend should learn to use google. "...Sandisk Memory Stick Micro card..." to be used with reader. I do expect to see that lineover/cell blowing vid now I understand the need for conformity. 12. They get a lot of their money from donations. I guess people would like to know what their country (by the people for the blah blah...) is doing and how much shit will they have to shovel when next war breaks out. They published documents "harming" USA, EU countries, middle east, asia (including china and other communist co.), etc (it's not really harming any country... just the people that run it. All these documents do is reveal how stupid/corrupted/immoral/fucking_sick those people are). They pretty much publish anything that they deem worth publishing regardless of its geographical or political origin. Considering how much dirty stuff has surfaced and reaction of politicians I'd say they're doing pretty good job. You see, when government is afraid of the people democracy rules. I dunno, is it? I thought that freedom of speach including free journalism is cornerstone of free world. From what I gather most US politicians would like to see Jualian dead (some in quite horrific ways). That used to be domain of "non-free" world, like public executions in chinese stadiums and stoning/burning in muslim world. These days americans seem to be quite content with such methods so I'd suggest you skip all the incoveniant stuff written in your constitution and law, switch to sharia and you can kick the shit out of Julian or anyone else who doesn't conformt to your beliefs. You will also be able to make women your slaves, but beer and bacon will be banned. But I guess letting go of such pesky notions as free speech is totaly worth it. Fucking imbeciles... 13. Nah man, that's like totally different! Cause if you use a missile instead of a ... wait what? I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense. -David Thorne
  14. 20.000 is nowhere close to million. You just have to decide what you need most: A jet-wingsuit or a new car I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense. -David Thorne
  15. Tell 'em to RTFM. That's why it was written. There is no skydiving gizmo to rule them all, and it always comes down to you not fucking up. Regardles of AAD, RSL, Skyhook or any other "life-saver" it still up to you to get down to earth alive and well. I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense. -David Thorne
  16. That and the fact "it functioned as advertised". Skyhook _can_ pull your reserve out from freebag faster and that's about it. Other than that it's just a glorified RSL. 17. Or we could have an inflatable dreidecker suit (red one would look super awesome). Technically this could be wearable... I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense. -David Thorne
  18. 1st of all I'm happy you like what you bought. Most things you mention as being super awesome are really more like average... things that most players have. You can definitely buy a player with bigger HDD, one that supports more media formats, one that can access even more internet services, one that can act as digital video recorder, one that can run a collection of servers/services for you to access over net while not at home, ... But in the end the only important thing is knowing what you want and buying the right tool for it. It looks like you got it spot on (except for that region shit publishers shove down our throats and divide world in imaginary "regions"). If anyone is looking for (kind of) comprehensive collections of info on current media players (with some articles explaining important things to look for) click here. 20. I wrote "most likely" in scientific papers... it meant we didn't know shit but data kinda pointed in said direction. If scientists are certain of something they will say it very clearly and attach enough data to confirm it beyond a reasonable doubt. That said, climate is gonna change 100%. It changed before first algae decided to live outside the sea, it changed before cows decided to take a swim and become whales. With or without humans, climate will change. 21. Then glide ratio should be better? More speed, more lift, less drag? I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense. -David Thorne
  22. Is this true? Just by looking at it I'd say that higher up you get: 1. higher vertical speed because of thinner air 2. less forward drive because of thinner air (this one is iffy) 3. reduced air resistance for forward drive Do these 3 (2?) really negate or is this a case of "close enough" for practical reasons? 23. I like my smelly couch... You should invite this guy to Lodi to pick up lost trackers/wingsuiters I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense. -David Thorne
  24. Would it be possible to connect this device to some kind of HUD screen like Oceanic datamask uses? It shouldn't be too expensive (tiny LCD + some glass to allow for close viewing) and could easily (kindof ) be integrated into full face helmet or custom googles (to keep viewing range constant). This way you could have your height, glide ratio, vertical speed, etc. right in front of you the whole time. If tiny LCD + optics is too expensive maybe just an LED array showing different colors could be used as another type of feedback (sound for glide, color for v speed). Ofcourse once we get proper transparent OLEDs things will look more sci-fi than ever before I understand the need for conformity.
