I have several that I carry, the smallest is the Smith Bodyguard 380, its really small, polymer frame and seems to disappear with my IWB or Pocket holster. I also have a Springfield XD 9mmSub Compact that is larger, but in a good holster is a pretty easy carry. I like the XD's as they not only have the trigger safety but a grip safety too. Squeak, My philosophy is as follows: (disclosure: I own 2 macbook pro's, a mac tower, 2 PC notebooks, a netbook and a PC tower) There are 2 types of computer users: 1. Those that say they want an open architected system that allows them ultimate flexibility to add and subtract components, software, and operating systems. The vast majority of these folks don't do this but want this capability. These folks don't mind a few glitches along the way caused by .dll conflicts or driver update incompatibilities. 2. Those that have no desire for ultimate flexibility and wish the computer to be as absolutely invisible to them so that they can accomplish their tasks. My preference is #2, which is why my go to computer is my macbook pro. I dot hold anything against anyone for their choice of computers, I just have my own needs and standards. I am willing to pay more over a 3 or 4 year life span of the computer for this invisibility and the knowledge (in my opinion) that I will get absolute consistency every time I turn on the computer. After an unfortunate 2 year layoff, the folks at Westside got me back in the air. Their training methods are very good, the instructors make certain you understand not just the what but the why, also! Everyone from manifest to the instructors to the packers to the riggers are great. Can't wait to get out there again.

Shah, I didn't read through all of the posts here, but I have a 2001 Boxster S that I bought 3 years ago with 95,000 miles. I now have 113,000 miles on it, (missed last summer due to shoulder surgery -- it's a 6 speed) and the car is fantastic. I got the service records with it, and the only issue I have had with it at about 98,000 miles was I had to replace a mass airflow sensor. (I also had a very weird issue with the heating element in the seat, but that could have been my fault when fitting 6 point race harnesses) I don't baby it, and it has been on the race track for track days multiple times, and the only prep necessary is to put on performance break pads. At the risk of fueling more debate. I would suggest a good old fashioned fire ax. A Katana or a Machete are fine weapons, but one must inflict maximum cranial mayhem on the Zombies, and the ax carries more mass than either of the edged weapons and will therefore be more effective. Plus, it will come in handy for opening locked doors, chopping firewood. Then, there is the blunt edge trauma that it can inflict.
