  1. Jump number 58, second jump in a tracking suit, last jump after amazing 2 weeks in Spain. I tracked between clouds towering above me on both sides, it was pretty surreal for a beginner like me :) That was in beginning of january, haven't jumped since then :(
  2. I can relate to being a bit dissapointed by tandem jump. It was fun as hell but I should have spend the money on AFF. I also think that my problem was that I knew more about skydiving than some people with A licence Well, I signed up for AFF and there is no comparison. Even after some jumps when I became more relaxed before jumping out its still super fun. Playing in the sky with other people, amazing views, the feeling when the door opens...I would say do AFF, get your A licence and THEN you will be able to really decide if its for you or not. Even if its not, those 20+ jumps will be something you will most likely remember for rest of your life ;)
  3. Why would you waste so much money on tandems? Unless you have some medical condition that makes it impossible or very hard to jump alone I do not see any logical reason to do 50 tandems, you clearly like it so why not sign up for AFF??
  4. I would advise you to consider skydive spain near sevilla :) great drop zone which is owned by same people that run hibaldstow (if i remember correctly). Most of the staff there is english and you will thank yourself later for choosing a place with great weather. Finishing of aff in england can take ages if your unlucky with the weather, in spain you have a good chance to be done in few days :) Good luck!
  5. What do you need it for with your 75 jumps? Any particular reason or you just like "gadgets"?
  6. www.skydivespain.com , near Sevilla in Spain. Awesome dropzone with alot of britts there, 15000ft in 12min, packers, great rental riggs, big landing area and amazing weather. I was there 2 weeks in january and jumped everyday. From what I understand its run by british. They do not do static line but I think its worth it to convert to AFF and be done with it in 2-3 days;) I highly recommend it :)
  7. My first console was one of the most fun jumps I ever did. I struggled so hard to pass all the AFF levels with instructors that I could not wait to jump alone and just enjoy :) I was so relaxed on the way up to alltitude that I forgot to arch when I jumped out :P After I got stable I didnt do shit untill it was time to pull, just enjoyed the view and got a "ground rush" for the first time ;)
  8. Nice video :) I still never get tired of seeing peoples faces doing their first jump, I was there not very long ago :) Whats the name of the song?

  10. It was filmed at my dropzone when i was doing my AFF, i can not believe anyone would be so retarded to not see that it was fake. This just proves how naive and dumb some are...
  11. Quiting smoking is easy, I quit maaaany times I guess I dont have enough motivation to quit, I try on average 4 times a year, longest time when I did not actually smoke was maybe 3 months :/ I smoke 1 pack/day and 2 when Im at the drop zone :P I really need to pull myself tagether and quit this shit, 250$ a month that go up in smoke
  12. Thx, somehow I missed the posts about your injury. I hope you get back in the sky :)
  13. What accident are you talking about? I cant find you explaining anywhere what happened to you. Good job on loosing weight to jump again, skydiving seems to be a great motivation for people to turn their life around. Good luck :)
  14. Congrats, if I count my Tandem as a skydive then I did my 13th jump on october 13th (second solo after AFF) The exit was very bad but the jump itself was amazing and landing left very good :) Good times :)
  15. Congrats :D I think now that you finally did jump its going to be much easier next time :)
  16. I hope someone bans you, your retarded:/
  17. Dont give up, I think fear is normal, the dfiference is how different people handle it :) I just did my first solo jump after 9 AFF jumps (had to repeat level 3 twice and level 4 once). I think you have same problem I had before AFF 3, you overthink it :) Trust your instructors and learn to trust yourself :) On my 3rd jump I definetly reached the peak of how scerred you could be in the plane, I thought way to much about what can go wrong (first jump where instructors let you fall on your own). I jumped anyway (not smart). I dont remember the exit and had total sensory overload for 5 seconds after the exit, when I saw the video I saw on my face that there was nobody there but I "woke up" and continued the jump. I was very very scerred to go up again, I actually almost gave up after that jump. Next try was much better and since that jump it just was easier and easier :) What helped me the most was great instructors who I trusted and slow, deep breaths on the plane ride up while visualizing the jump. The fear is still there before every jump but I know that as soon as I leave the door it will stay in the plane Next time just say fuck it, smile and just let go of the plane, it will be worth it :)
  18. I failed level 3 twice before I passed. Now Im stuck on level 4 which I failed once so far Oh well we will get it someday :P If I had a wind tunnel anywhere near me I would definetly go
  19. This looked like a amazing jump :) Congrats! Im myself stuck on level 4 :P
  20. No windtunnel anywhere nearby but I will deffinetly go to one when winter gets here ;) I finally passed level 3, took me 3 tries, first time couldnt get stable, second time lost alltitude awarness I jumped yesterday and it went pretty good, cant wait to do level 4 :)
  21. Whats up all! Even though I have been lurking here feew years it wasnt untill sunday that I made my first AFF jump, level 1 and 2 went good, but I got stuck on level 3, failed it 2 times, cant seem to get stable no matter what... its really frustrating but I still absolutely love every jump. First try on level 3 was fucked, I got a total sensory overload and dont remembr my exit (which according to my instructors sucked big time). For some reason I cant get stable and I forget to arch as soon as I have anything else that I need to concetrate on. Anyway, I still enjoy jumping and the community, hopefully I will finally pass aff level 3 this weekened :) Take care and fly safe :)
  22. Did my first tandem today, I was thinking like you, I really wanted my first jump to be on my own but then I started thinking "what if i dont like it"??? I ride sportbikes so to be honest I was ALMOST dissapointed how UN-scary it was to jump But still it was the most mindblowing thing ever, the enviroment did take me by suprise. I was reading/watching movies and gathering as much info as I could in last 2-3 years so I thought I know whats coming but DAMN that was way different than I thought :) Its your own personal decision what your going to do but I am very happy I did a tandem jump, this definetly will take some of the stress of me before my AFF1 jump :) Im not the most confident person and I always fear the worst so I decided to take the safe approach :P The only problem is that first course I can attend is in AUGUST and i have no freaking idea how Im gonna make it that far, since I jumped I only have one thing on my mind, I want to be in that open door 4 km up in the sky again
