  1. Socialist farmers? You lost me with that one. You do like to eat... don't you? Chuck
  2. I'd say that in terms of appropriate use of taxpayer dollars, the poor are probably pretty low in terms of priorities for smacking around. I wasn't necessarily pickin' on the poor... I said 'anyone'!! Chuck
  3. Seems to me, anyone spending tax payer's dollars, needs to be accountable. I've seen people on food stamps give their change to their 'significant other' waiting on the other end of the check-out. He I turn goes into the store and buys a six-pack of his favorite brew. What's wrong with that picture. Chuck
  4. And the 90 per day that die in automobiles per day. Derek V Well, since you bring up ACCIDENTS, I hadn't counted gun accidents, just murders. How many vehicular murders are there in the US on a typical day?and how many of those 30 were criminals killing criminals? Like those lovely gang-bangers who the media does not attach gang affiliation to? The media sure has a way of twisting things so as to get readers/viewers. Chuck absolutely, just look at kallend's posts I don't know about Chicago or the rest of the country but I do know that media sources along the Southwest Border have been threatened with death if they report cartel activity. Maybe this is the case in other parts of the country. I do believe, the bad guys with guns should be sought out and leave responsible gun owners alone! Chuck amen. On another note, my boys and I went out shooting this weekend. I got a place to set up a private range. Killed a whole bunch of paper and knock some dents in steel. We had a great time Good for you and your boys! That's the way to do it! Been awhile since I've been to the range, about a year. Then too, where I live, I get to go to one or two ranches and blow the hell out of some cardboard. We make our own targets out of old boxes. Put a black dot on it, set the box at about 100-yds. and git after it. Just making sure the scopes are in tune! Chuck

  7. I noticed that too. Everyone who picked-up a firearm had their finger on the trigger. Serious instruction needed there! Chuck
  8. I'm so tired of the 'anti gunners' and their black and white, knee-jerk response to the 'gun issue'. They put good, responsible gun owners under the same blanket as criminals, gangers and irresponsible possessors. 'Just get rid of all guns and the problem is solved'! Back to Disneyland! They just don't get it. They want their way and refuse to listen to the side of responsible gun owners. They want their rights yet want to take away the rights of some others. Like anything else... if you don't like something, stay away from it. Avoid 'situations' or areas where they feel 'uncomfortable'. Look a little deeper into the subject, get the facts, learn where the real problem is and do something about that. Generalizing doesn't solve the problem. Chuck
  9. Criminals aren't famous for being the brightest bulbs in the box and will do whatever they intend to do regardless of the fact that someone else may be in possession of a firearm. Chuck
  10. I'm thinking that the GOP and FOX news just may hold Cruz to a different level of accountability. I'm thinking that he is such an idiot, it isn't going to matter much past next month where he was born. http://i.imgur.com/wprUtSC.jpg Brrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaappp! Wrong answer hot-shot! I'll certainly vote for someone but not Cruz! Chuck
  11. The one, significant point is... all these inanimate objects do not perform any of the things you mention until humans enter the equation. There's the problem. Chuck
  12. I don't see a problem. For one thing, the Civil war ended 150-yrs. ago this year. Citizens of this country who are from other countries fly Japanese flags, German flags, Iraqui flags, Irish flags, Mexican flags and so-on and no one bats an eye. People need to start looking forward and quit dwelling on the past. I still don't understand why 'The Confederate Air Force', a tongue in cheek name by the forming members, had to change it to 'The Commemorative Air Force'. Chuck
  13. Fried Okra goes good with Bunny Stew You bet it does! Chuck
  14. I think, they just wanted to fry-up some okra or make gumbo. Chuck
  15. I thought I'd respond tis way because we were fixin' to get a 9-layer burrito and I didn't want us to catch hell for it. Yes, I've eaten diamond back before. Makes a good pate, too. Chuck
  16. Mmmmm, fried, with bbq sauce. Slow smoked is good too! Chuck Crockpot squirrel stew. Yum-yum!! Chuck I like bunny better Bunny is very good. Armadillo on the half shell? Chuck

  19. There ya' go! My favorite to this day is a PBJ using toasted sliced homemade bread, chunky peanut butter, strawberry jam and a bowl of chicken noodle soup! I don't know about protocol but I know what I like!
  20. It's the same on both sides of the aisle! All those politicians are all out for themselves. They sling a line of bull-shit to get the votes so they can carry-on business as usual. As long as voters continue to keep them in office, nothing is going to change. Chuck Hey, it's the BEST government money can buy. That's the best money can buy? Good Lord! Chuck It's been bought and paid for by the folks who can afford anything, so it's a reasonable statement. That's a true story! Chuck
