This is a well-manufactured product, with good design and easy to use features like shield lift, tool-less shield change, secures easily and efficiently to your head. I see people complaining a bit on price, I though the price was fair, and in fact almost 20 years ago I bought my last full-face, an Oxygen A3, which was $311 plus shipping (not free back then), and is nowhere near the quality of this helmet! My review rating is 4.5, because of the lack of fittment adjustments inside.
  2. The very reputable Plymouth Sky Sports has moved to a new location and rebranded to Skydive Windy City (Chicago). Our new location makes us the closest skydiving center to Chicago, with views of the Lake Michigan shoreline for 3 states, and views of downtown Chicago, which is only 35NM from the dropzone. We welcome experienced jumpers. Our jump altitude is limited to 10K AGL due to our proximity to Chicago and airline traffic. Great landing areas and staff!

  4. Skydive Windy City (formerly Plymouth Sky Sports) is now the closest skydiving center to Chicago. Spectacular views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline abound from our location less than 3 miles from the lake and 30NM from Chicago.
  5. He should have money since he is still selling groupon deals in the area. If you guys do get paid, let me know since he has owed PSS a large sum since late 2011. His new "DZ mgr." (JF) also owes PSS lots. Nick should be easy to find if he is where I hear he is . Ultimately you have to know you will never see a dime (as I do). In the future keep in mind that if deals seem too good to be true, they probably are. Many DZOs promise staff much more than they can deliver (although most of them pay staff for work actually done). I have learned a lesson, as you all probably have. In the future these crooks will be easier to spot. Troy I am now free to exercise my downward mobility.
  6. Can anyone provide a vendor who carries the mesh and kevlar webbing used in UPT drogues? I don't see the specific mesh or the webbing in Paragear's catalog. Thanks, Troy I am now free to exercise my downward mobility.
  7. The monthly "Need Altitude" boogie is almost here. Come jump the Caravan at Plymouth Sky Sports http://www.plymouthskysports.com and get the altitude you deserve! Fast lifts to 13,500', the only place to get turbine altitude in Northern Indiana. This weekend: July 2-4, 2011. Troy I am now free to exercise my downward mobility.
  8. Correction: The Caravan will arrive at noon on June 3. Come on out and enjoy the extra altitude and clean air! Troy I am now free to exercise my downward mobility.
  9. Turbine weekend at Plymouth Sky Sports this weekend (June 4 & 5). SDC's newest Caravan will be on site and we'd like to keep the pilot inside all day both days! Don't miss out! Troy I am now free to exercise my downward mobility.
  10. Oh, and my final reply... Daren: I am sorry, but I do not do business that way. If you like, your shipper can come pick up the check (or I will destroy it). There are two problems with your check, one is the amount is excessive. I am not a bank and I will not give change, especially over wire transfer. The other problem is that the check is not a bank check, it is a check drawn on a college which I believe you have no affilliation with. Please let me know whether you want the check destroyed or picked up by your shipper. Regards, Troy Church Sky Sports, Inc. [email protected] Troy I am now free to exercise my downward mobility.
  11. This user is still at it. Here is the interaction with me... Thanks for the quick update, payment was sent from me via fedex with the tracking numbers (794781837873) and i guess you will be wondering why i sent that much to you.the excess funds is meant for shipping cost..actually i really do not know how much it will cost for the shipper to be able to get it shipped to me over here , Which was the reason why i had to issue out enough funds for it all so there wont be any delay while getting it shipped to me. You can box up the Rig and get it ready because I will be ready to get them shipped soon. So what I need from you now is for you to remove $1100 for the Rig and for you to send the rest by western union to the shipper so pickup can take place on time. I have other equipments that I need to get shipped so I want to do them all together. You can remove the western union charges from the money you are sending. Please send to the information below Name:- Preonda Graham City :- Fort Wayne , IN , USA Daren --- On Wed, 5/25/11, Troy Church wrote: From: Troy Church Subject: Re: Dropzone.com Classifieds - Response to your Ad To: "Daren Bent" Date: Wednesday, May 25, 2011, 5:26 AM Daren: I received a check yesterday with an email request inside. 12. Scott Tezak, a SDC regular, my flight instructor, my friend died Thursday (5/5/11) evening in FL while ferrying a plane from Ft. Myers back to IL. Scott was a great pilot, skydiver, and friend to all who knew him. I miss you Scott, as will everyone else whose lives you touched! Troy I am now free to exercise my downward mobility.

  14. THe container is a V3-M series custom built for these canopies and a 6'5" 370lb man. The rig has sport handle locations. It doesn't look like a Sigma to me (and I own Sigmas, so I am certain what they look like), it looks like a V3-M, which is what it is. Size is V397. About prices, the reserve and main cost nearly the same as tandem canopies. I don't have a pic of the front handy, but believe that it was built as a sport rig (from day 1) Here is a pic of the side (on the fellow it was built for), and a pic of the main taking up the entire SDC freefly packing area (notice the distinctly military colors). Troy I am now free to exercise my downward mobility.
  15. Think outside of the "sport" box. What application would need a reserve rated for a man and a supplemental load (other than a tandem?). If you guessed military, you'd be on the right track. My HUGE boy rig has a TR-335 reserve, TSO'd for 425 lbs @ 170 kts! You should see the build quality of this canopy! OK, most people will never see it, but my connections in the sport allowed me to buy a new tactical reserve and new tactical main (MS-330, otherwise called a tactical silhouette) for my HUGE boy rig. Just 'cause you haven't heard of it doesn't mean it didn't happen. The world is bigger than our little corner. Troy I am now free to exercise my downward mobility.
