Hi folks, Skydive Myrle Beach is going to have a Skyvan this week and an R44. They start flying on Thursday 6-6-13 with the skyvan. The R44 will be Saturday only. Hope to see some of you out there it would be great to do some big ways out of the Van.

They fly a Porter and have covered packing in their hanger.

I put 19 jumps this weekend on a katana 97. It's one very ground hungery canopy. It was fun to fly but most of my openings were off heading and stossed me around alot. Is this normal for them at this wing loading?

Hey BETO, Thanks for the Info. I've jumped a velo 96 and loved it. The reason I'm thinking of going to the katana 97 is I have a small container that fits a 107 tight and I don't think I could fit the velo 96 in it.

Any one loading there Katana at 2.25? I'm thinking about going to a 97. Just interested in how they fly at this wing loading. I know PD's MSW is 193, but I'm still considering it. If any one is doing this I'd really like your feed back.

I have put 250 jumps on a stiletto and had line twists once. It's a been a very fun canopy to own.

Swooping or BASE? I never understood why people try to separate the two. A 280 Black jack swoops the pond like nobody's business.

Does any one have any experience with the membership program at paraclete. I'm moving to N.C. soon and thinking about signing up.

I was watching a base dvd and it got me thinking about tracking technique. What is the best body position for a fast flat track? The base jumpers were wearing track suits, witch I know are different then RW suits we wear, but the booties looked similar. They were pointing their toes out to the side, is that something we could do to increase are tracking? My next Question is on suit design, is there any way to increase the suits ability to track, without the losing too much maneuverability? Bigways slow as they add people, maybe those on the outside should fly a suit made for just that.(slower fall rate and superior tracking.) I don't know much but I do know things can always be made better.
