Your odds of getting hurt doing a tandem are not bad. You most likely will be fine. But if you can't handle the possibility of being hurt or killed then maybe you shouldn't do a tandem. Skydiving is dangerous.

I can't answer that question since the "end times" is a Christian concept and I am not a Christian. The change to Socialism is just a change and my opinion is I don't like it. Do I think the world will end if the US were to become a Socialist state? I don't think so. It would just be something I would have to tolerate or move to a different country.

I have been jumping a FF3 with an HC5 for over a year now with out any problems. This year I added a Rebel Xs. I have about 15 jumps with the still camera with out any problems. I have thought about getting a CX100 due to how light it is, but I won't be jumping a camera much this year.

I bought it on Blu Ray and have watched it a few times just to concentrate on the Joker. I still can't see Ledger behind all that makeup. Usually you can see the mannerisms of the actor pretending to be the character, but not with Heath Ledgers Joker. That is what makes a great actor. With all the other actors that played the Joker you could recognize the actor behind the makeup, especially Jack Nicholson.

I have had my HC5 lock up a couple of times due to the cold. I caught it once and had time to shut it all the way off and then turn it back on and start recording.

That is an interesting thought and may well be true. Maybe it is begining to lean the other direction? Maybe we are begining to evolve to the point where we don't have to believe we are the center of the Universe?? I don't have the statistics handy, but I think there are more people today that disbelieve in deitys then there were say 200 years ago. Will we be moving towards a point in human history when the majority of people drop the belief in deitys?

Their happiness and good life depends on what they do not so much on what they believe. Although the power of positive thinking does help it is due to the psychology of humans not due to some deity.

I would put that under the 'want to' catagory. I recognize that many people feel the need to believe in deitys simply because it makes them feel special or that they have a purpose in life. I think they are deluding themselves.
