  1. Very helpful!! Thanks! Blue Skies, Jason
  2. Thanks for the info. I have gotten everything assymbled on my Optic and the .5 doesn't seem to be quite as wide as my old set-up using the 30-43 step-up ring but if I stack a 30-37 and a 37-43 it looks to be the same. I am probably gonna jump it a few times in both configurations and see which one I like best. Either way its still wider than my xti with the kit 18-55 set to 18mm. I gotta get me a wider/better lens for my xti!! Thanks again and Blue Skeis, Jason
  3. Thanks for the great reveiw Spot!! I just ordered one of these to go on my new (to me) cx100. I also ordered a 30mm - 43mm step up ring ($5 on ebay) to keep from having to stack two rings. **Hint** Search for 30-43 not 43-30, I wasted some time searching the wrong way I hope it will be close to my previous PC101/Kenko .43 fisheye set-up that I use for tandems. Thanks again and Blue Skies, Jason
  4. I do my own edits. I have also been editing for a few of the other camera flyers at my home DZ. I charge them $6 per edit, which includes postage since we usually edit at home and mail the DVD to the customer since we don't have packers or editors at the DZ. I am seriously considering charging more since I am in the VERY EXPENSIVE process of switching to NLE. I wonder what the going rate for an edit is..?? Seems like I paid $7 per edit at Skydive the Farm back a couple of years ago and they didn't have any postage expenses. Blue Skies, Jason
  5. Please forgive me for keeping this thread derailled but...WOW, so instead of saving his money to buy a rig, he goes and buys a gopro and then proceeds to sneak it on the plane. Did the DZO talk to/ disipline him once everyone was back on the ground?? Blue Skies, Jason edit for spelling..
  6. That is some SICK flying!! I really loved the transition(beginning at 2:50) of the small round flying through the larger round!! Blue Skies, Jason
  7. Just bought my wife a NOOK color for Christmas. This thing is awesome!! I am using it to post this!! We looked at both very hard and decided the nook was a better option for us. If you are only looking for an e reader then the kindle is probably better but the nook is an e reader and a lot more. Most reviews compare it to the ipad. Hope this helps Blue Skies, Jason
  8. Looks really nice!! #6 in the base gallery is still my favorite. Such an awesome pic!! Blue Skies, Jason
  9. Are you looking to set up another 200 for jumpers?
  10. When would that have been? Blue Skies, Jason
  11. Fourth canopy is below and to the right of the other canopy in the upper right hand corner of the frame. Top of the canopy is right at the ridgeline. Took me a bit to see it too. Blue Skies, Jason
  12. WOW!! I can't imagine how much MONEY they are pumping into this project!! I wish them all the best!
  13. What is the price for this machine? What would it cost to get a comparable set-up in a desk-top? Just curious. Blue Skies, Jason
  14. Hey Spence, Thanks for the reply. I had forgotten about the one at Thomaston. I got to see it earlier this year but it was overcast so I didn't get to jump it . Someone there told me that it had not been modified like Mullins' but it was just a "great climber". I think I remember someone saying that Titusville had a "Super" KA but I was thinking it was a 100. Thanks again and Blue Skies, Jason
  15. This is the King air they had a few years ago. Dont know that its the same one, but it can give you an idea what they look like. Thanks for the reply. I am familier with King Airs (have made several jumps from Mullins' and two different ones at Skydive AL) but I was curious about the one she referred to in particuler because of the claim of 13,500' in 6-7 min. That sounds to me like a modified 90 like Mullins' is. I wasn't aware that there were any more of those out there. Thanks again and Blue Skies, Jason
  16. Hey Dave, Thanks for the response. I am following this thread with interest and thinking about going to an Ultimate Switch in the near future. I am looking for something more reliable than my Conceptus tongue switch. I really like it when it works but I have gone through several of them. I have bought at least 5 and have had no telling how many of them replaced free of charge by Conceptus. The last time I sent a batch in to be replaced they told me that they wouldn't replace any more for me so when I use up my last two "spares" I am gonna do something else. Please keep us posted on how the Ultimate switch holds up under heavy use. Thanks again and Blue Skies, Jason
  17. Sorry, I know this is off-topic but I'd like to see more pics of the KA as well. Is it a 90 with -34's on it? Blue Skies, Jason
  18. I was under the impression that you could adjust the sensitivity on the "ultimate switch". Maybe I'm wrong. Blue Skies, Jason
  19. I haven't I hope they are just running late. Blue Skies, Jason
  20. Here are a couple from 4-10-10 of 19 year old T.I. Zack Mullins. Blue Skies, Jason
  21. If he has been there for a while then I am sure you already know this but WATCH OUT for the local cops. They see an out of state car tag and they will look for ANY EXCUSE to give you a ticket. Yes, I am speaking from experiance. My wife and I were driving thru there on our way back to the interstate from Skydive Atlanta this past January and I got a $120 ticket for making an illegal left hand turn!! Of course, they know you aren't gonna go to court but they will gladly accept your credit card number over the phone! No, I haven't gotten over it yet. Blue Skies, Jason
  22. Is this outdated info or is Mr. Douglas in fact moving to Crosskeys? I hope someone is going to do something with it. It breaks my heart to see it just sitting here on the ramp. I never got to jump it but I sure would love to. Blue Skies, Jason
  23. West Tennessee Skydiving is a private airport. Lincoln Sport Parachute Club owns their airport now. ( I only know that from listening to skydive radio) Blue Skies, Jason
  24. Thanks for the reply. I guess that makes sense. Please post some footage after you have a chance to test it. Blue Skies, Jason
