  1. Replying to the thread as a whole. I wanted to add to the conversation bc this is something I have really changed my thoughts on. I think this is best done by sharing a great article written on a conservative site: https://www.redstate.com/sarahquinlan/2018/03/20/republicans-seek-end-death-penalty-not-expand/ Some strong quotes from the article: "Capital punishment is therefore yet another government program that is both expensive and ineffective — while also pertaining to literal life or death situations." "If we are to err, shouldn’t it be on the side of life?" -Ronald Reagan -R Life is all about ass....either you're kicking it, kissing it, working it off, or trying to get a piece of it. 2. You don't need a suit for the tunnel. They will give you one to use that will work fine. I encourage you to hit the tunnel. 3. Freeflyers also do a lot of tracking/angle jumps and transition a lot during those jumps. I agree with you on the belly and ff skills overall but I think there is a reason that FF's transition to WS better. We are more used to dynamic flight as a whole and that includes tracking jumps. Many tracking jumps I see that are not freeflyer heavy are just flat tracking and not much else. Great advice to the "baby bird" you just got me thinking... 5. I know it has a lot to do with the battery now in use and its tested lifespan. They have been working towards this for many years. Actually, before other competitors even hit the market. I still recommend the service. Now at 5 yrs and 10 yrs. Life is all about ass....either you're kicking it, kissing it, working it off, or trying to get a piece of it. 7. My L5/S1 is about 30% there at 37 yrs of age. I have focused on stretching 2-3 times a day and I workout with focus on my core. In addition I also have a bed that I think has helped a lot too. (Sleep Number) Since I have focused this way I have some days that are stiff with mild pain but overall have been doing really well. (2 years) There are some advances in artificial disks. I am hoping that by the time my real one is gone.... this method will be a very real option. -rts Life is all about ass....either you're kicking it, kissing it, working it off, or trying to get a piece of it. 11. I was thinking about this last night. I am thinking he will not concede. So, I thought, 'What happens then?' I am guessing it would be up to the RNC to concede. Anyone??????? Jerry Baumchen It was interesting today at the Pence rally, where a Trump supporter said she was willing to start a revolution if Clinton wins. (Although later she clarified that she would only be able to revolt if her hip gets done by January.) Pence looked like he would rather be anyplace else on the planet than where he was. The GOP only has itself to blame. The primary voters themselves were warned by many to no avail. The irony here is that Clinton is weak and unliked. The Dems have no bench and can only muster very old white candidates. That is still the case really... their bench moving forward is terrible while the GOP bench is great, full of young and diverse people. This should have been an easy election for the right and they blew it bc of stupidity. The party elites screwed up by throwing all money behind Jeb!. What a shit show....... I think Hillary is really a moderate and this rhetoric was forced on her by first Obama and then Bernie. She will be staus quo with some damage. I think she is a terrible human being but not as scary as Cheeto boy. I still will not vote for either. Then please, please, please vote your heart and your conscious for a third party that fits your ideals. No, they will not win. However, if a party breaks 5% in a general presidential election they become eligible for federal campaign funding which immediately puts them about $90 Million in the black. If everyone who said 'I really like XYZ but they're just not going to win' actually voted for XYZ, XYZ then becomes a contender. That is the way I have been voting since Trump got the nod. I am voting for something I believe in... a 3rd party getting 5% + so they get funding next cycle. 12. As far as Hillary being a 'moderate,' look at her track record in College - before going under the radar after graduation. Again, I equate being an avowed Marxist/Communist as being on a par with sexual attraction to barnyard animals. If either EVER seemed appealing, claims to have 'gotten over it' fall on deaf ears. When I read Marx, Lenin et al. those many years ago, I concluded that anyone who could buy into this has something severely wrong with them. Going to various Socialist Workers' Paradises thereafter only strengthened that conviction. You could call Hillary a variety of things, but 'moderate' would be one of the least accurate. Based on leaked private speeches I think she is more moderate than you think. It doesn't matter at this point. As soon as the GOP put Trump in it was a lock that we would get HRC as prez. 14. Yup.... a year when people cared more about someone "telling it like it is" and screaming about one issue won out. There were of course other factors that led to the cheeto winning. It was a perfect storm of Fu@#! Hoping that real conservatives/GOP leaders and the younger generation learn from this because it gave us President Hillary Clinton. Primaries are a very different thing as compared to a general. The GOP "base" doesn't get that I guess. It's kind of funny. Given what happened during the 12 primaries, the primaries this time shouldn't be that big of a surprise (Hindsight being 20/20, of course). Romney was a fairly well qualified candidate. Former governor, lots of experience. But he was from a 'political family', and was a 'rich, out of touch' Republican. And a Mormon. So the blue collar, conservative, religious base (you know, the ones 'bitterly clinging to their guns and religion') didn't like him much. So every time any new candidate popped up (Cruz, Perry, Bachman, Cain, ect) they'd have a big surge in the polls, until the base figured out that they were no better, and actually worse than Romney. And they'd fade in a week or so. So along comes Trump. And he tells that base exactly what they want to hear. No matter that it often goes directly against positions he stated prior to entering the race (guns and abortion are the two biggies). Not "political royalty" like Bush, not even an established politician like Cruz or Kaisch. So add up the "exactly what the bigots and xenophobes want to hear", along with the "Anyone but Hillary" crowd, thrown in with the fools and idiots that fall for his con job (Ryoder's comment about psycho/narcissist is dead on) and you have what we have. And while Yogi Berra was right... It ain't over 'til it's over. It's definitely swinging to HRC. She's even seeing rising numbers in Texas. Where a democrat hasn't won in a long, long time. And while it offends me rather deeply to see her take the WH, it doesn't scare me the way a Trump presidency would. Agree to a point but I don't like it when people say the "base" nominated him. The reality is... the guy could not break 50% in most states and more voted for someone else so a great number didn't want Trump. That means the "base" was not for him in a majority. There were too many freaking people running. Too many people that stayed in when they shouldn't have. Clearly the base still rejects Trump which is why he is doing so poorly. He is going to get his clock cleaned as my grandfather used to say. Five Thirty Eight now has Hillary at just under 80% win probability. That's a much stronger lead than Obama had at this point vs Romney. 324 to 213.9 in the electoral college with current projections. That's an a$$ whoopin! http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-election-forecast/?ex_cid=rrpromo That said, clearly there is an element of the party that likes him and it is a shocking amount of them. There is a large number of Union dems that are for Trump also though for probably the same reasons.
