Wow what a day. My daughter went up for her check dive I could see them exit... so cool saw them track away and one opened the other fell. and fell and fell... Then i saw the free bag fly away as the reserve opened. I went to chase down the coaches Freebag as they landed. When I got back I learned it wasnt the coach it was My daughter with the reserve ride... Whew this old heart cant take it....Well maybe I can after all.... Father daughter jump this weekend!!!!!

I'd see things a little differently if it were 30 years ago and people stayed with companies for life, but in this day and age, employees should be no more loyal to a company than a company is to them, which is to say, not at all. I hate to disagree but... The corporation I work for has done a fantastic job of taking care of its employees. Health care; 250 a month covers me my wife and three kids with just a fifteen dollar copay health, dental, vision and prescriptions included. 401k and profits sharing matched 1 to 1 up to five percent. 9$ an hour is spent on benifits alone. The average time of employment for our company is twelve years. very little turn over and a lot of experiance. Most newhires dont last long when the have to "Work" for thier pay. Not all corporations are EVIL, Some actually do it right!

Yes I worked as a rigger... not for rigging canopies but for thirty and forty ton cranes. its a job I havent done in awhile but the usual riggers were out for the day. As I was working figuring out load limits, angles, and wieghts, doing all that math I got to thinking about the awsome responsibility it is for a rigger to do his job right. Thirty peoples lives depended on me to rig the loads right. How many more of us are there that depend upon a rigger to his job right... Packing our reserves and checking our new purchases. I think I am going to go out and buy my rigger a bottle just for the hell of it!!!! Just a thought I had today!

I am jumping a a sabre one. The one one jump I must not have rolled thr nose very well and I got slammed a bit on opening. I was thinking about that opening on my next jump and reached for my risers to early. my ring finger on my right hand got between the front and rear risers just as the opening shock hit. I didnt get spanked but I broke my finger just below the first joint on the finger. Lesson learned!

Here min the Denver area a woman and her daughter have been ruinning a scam for the past ten years. I was in court yesterday for an unrelated issue and I watched this drama unfold. This woman and her duaghter set it up so that one of them would get involved with a guy. the one involved would claim that the other was abusive and needed a place to go. The guy/dupe would let the one move in with him. a few months later the mothwer and daughter would reconcile. and the one not involved in the relationship would "lose" thier home apt etc and ask to move in with the couple. the guy/dupe would end up supporting both women in hiss home niether of which had jobs just kicking it at his expense. The one invilved wouold get the guy to do a refinance or secound mortgage credit accounts whatever to secure "Spending money. When the well dried up the one not involved would cry rape, assault, or some othe violent crime. I know it sounds absurd but whatching this in court was stunning. The defendant brought up ten cases over the last decade that involved these two women. in many cases the homes of the unfortunate guy were given over to the women who proceeded to loose them to forclosure a few months later. Usually after they had found another mark. One man lost his home car and a barber shop he had owned for more than twenty years. As to how the women got caught, thier last mark happened to be the son of a D.A. and his father did research into prior court cases under the two womens names! He did a great job in presenting the two conwomens act. Most of the cases were settled out of court which made the research even harder. I am still amazed they got away with it for so long. Final conclusion of the court ....Probation for the daughter and six months county time for the mother! A thousand dollars in reparations to the last young man. thats it! The daughter even tried to claim comon law marriage and ownership of the guys house!

I ork in the construxction industry. concrete welding carpentry. while many people call this hard work I enjoy building things to much to concider it a plebian existance. I could sit at a desk doing marketing or sales but I would hate every minute of it even if I was making more money. Any one who thinks building things from scratch is a brainless activity and requires only brute stregnth is an elititist,ignorant snob! Engineers may design the product I make but they cant build them. Anyway Is wok wok when you enjoy it hmmmm?

Down the street from my house lives a woman. She is on section eight government housing. she pays fifty dollars a month for this five bedroom, 2 3/4 bath, house. Her welfare of aid ran out years ago so they put her on disability. "BiPOLAR". This plus food stamps gives her about 1200 a month. She is not employed at this time. She has two children living with her and she gets child support for both I dont know how much. Thats the situation. now, She rents out three of the room for 600 dollars a month each. It is suspected not confirmed that Crytal meth and pot are/is being sold out of the home. the front yard looks like a junk yard sale for used car parts, and lawn mowers. apparently the lawn mowers dont work as the weeds in the yard are about a foot tall. At any given time there are five to twelve cars parked outside the house, many of which are in various stages of repair. Now should this woman be reported for mviolating the rules regarding government housing or should she be applauded for getting over on the system?
