  1. if you burn a book that some people live there life by thats ok,but if you live in germany and say or write that hitler never killed any jews you end up in jail, how does this work?
  2. how can one of the best trained and equiped armies in the world make so many mistakes like , gee we didn' know that was a school we just blew up ,gee we didn't know that was a un warehouse we just blew up or we didn't know there was civilians in that building (after they just moved them there themselfs) the list goes on amd on. the reply of, there was an arab standing there so he had to be a bad guy just don't cut it .when the number of women and kids killed outnumber the militants i think your doing something wrong, even if your set up you should be smart enough to not keep playing into their hands
  3. maybe its their track record of being arrogant lairs, how many times have they been caught forging passports to kill people outside israel? when a swedish reporter claimed the idf had taken organs for transplants the jews denied it and made him look like a asshole but when israelie doctors and idf personal came forward and said that it did happen did the jews come forward and admit it ?fuck no we just heard no more about it.the list could go on for ever.. why does the un want more then an idf probe? maybe its becouse they have been caught lying so many times (or just say no comment) that you can't believe them .
  4. i'd rather have a sister thats a whore, then a brother thats a cop
  5. thanks for the kind words of support (also to weegegirl for her pm) . i have such a greater amount of respect for people who get more involved and who try to help other people.we all have problems that seem to be major but when you go to dinner and your daugther tells you with big tear filled eyes that she has cancer it not only tears your heart out but also your soul and leaves you so empty.so to everyone whos worried about things like jobs, bills and such ,it could be worse
  6. my 22 year old daugther is fighting lymphoma and is doing very well and will beat it. she is doing kemo and is sick a lot and she gets motion sickness easy.she comes to the dz and does a couple tandems a year but she didnt think she would be able to jump this summer and was bummed out about it, but shes doing so well that her dr. is giving her a 2 month break from kemo to get her weight back up a little and such. when she called to let me know she sounded so happy and uplifted ,this will be one of those jumps you never forget. anyways i'd be happy to drop a line and will ask lind's to do the same. ( thanks for listening to me whine next time i'll supply cheese)
  7. is dropzone.com connected to the uspa? does uspa have the power to censor the media? when hugo chavez tries to supress free speech people call him a pinko commie. if he has no credibilty nobody will listen to him anyways. i thought dropzone.com ran a forum where you can say what you like, even if some other people don't like it
  8. nope ,don't know this guy and it sounds like i'd rather not.i think if you look back through the post's most of the expierenced jumpers like the cut. a lawyer didn't ask me to post but you know fucken well for a few bucks they can get a pilot to come to court and say it for them.i take responsibility for everything i do.i was to be last out on a h&p hoping to get 3g but only got 2g , i made the jump (at jump #51) becouse i didn't want to be that "nanny" i should have never made the jump(even though it was fun).staying within your "comfort zone" and expierence level don't make you a "nanny". just becouse a few posters say he might have a case and win don't mean we think it's right , i would never sue for something like this (it would make me feel like a "nanny") but lot's of people will. i wonder if dropzones that don't cut will start cutting now? even if lodi wins the case how much is this going to cost them?(these are questions not statements) don 't forget to flame me for my bad grammar
  9. i'd say not cutting when you know the jumper and he's experenced and done this before, go for it fine ,but when it's sop no matter who's on the jump don't sound like a good idea. i've got over 100 cessna jumps and went to jumptown to jump the otter(thanks for helping me out and being so friendly) and you have a lot on your mind, new jump plane, new dropzone, new people, checking spot at a new landing area, thinking landing pattern, it's a lot to think about ,nobody want's to fuck up at a new dropzone , then (hopefully)someone say's "be carefull on your exit so you don't get hit by the tail " it's a lot for a new jumper. sure he can say no thanks but chances are he won't want to look like a pussy and peer pressure will push him out the door.we all know student's and low # jumper's somtimes overload and don't always do what there told, just a low jumpers 2 cents.ok i'm clear flame away.
  10. i'm not a lawyer wannabe but i think when the non jumping jury hears that this could have been prevented by cutting and leveling out , that most dropzones cut to prevent this, and lodi does not do this to save money it won't sound good.i'm not saying it's right but knowing how suehappy some people are why would you run the risk? i think the jury will say this procedure was a unnessary risk that put jumper's at risk . this seems like a accident just waiting to happen ,maybe both parties are to blame.
  11. a older friend of mine owns a farm that always has turkeys around but they would always take off when he tried to get close enough with a shotgut.he uses a bicycle to go from barn to barn and he noticed the turkeys would stay put as long as he was moving on the bike, so now he steers the bike with one hand rest the 12 gauge across the handlebars with the other , peddles to about 15or 20 yards pulls up and presto dinner

gq , maybe everyone doesnt want to live your lifestyle, this is the usa not commieland ,people can live the way they want. people should mind thier own fucking self-rightous business. if you dont like fat people dont fucking look at them.how about people who try to make people skinny , how come i cant get whole milk at mcdonalds? everytime i eat there all i get is some watered down shit called low fuckin fat, i weight 150 pounds i dont want low fuckin fat milk i want real fuckin milk. who's the commie pig fuckin mother fucker who says i cant have real milk with my big fuckin mac.is this what we want some self rightous dictator telling us we cant drink whole milk couse we might get fat and use more gas when we drive our own cars and are burning our own gas.i smell socialism
  13. vermont skydiving adventures in addison ,its about 2 miles from the bridge that goes over to port henry ny.you jump right next to lake champlain with views of lake george, mount washington, burlington. ole and the crew are the best and really take the time to help you out. i did static line at about 5 differnt dz's and decided to take the aff course there .i wasnt the best student and they helped alot to get me my "a". my advice would be check out a few dz's to see which one you feel comfortable at.
  14. this is the opening statment from mountian skills(a northeastern rock climbing school) "rock climbing is inherently dangerous, learning by trial and error is not an option" i think this applies to skydiving as well. if you have 1000's of jumps and want to try stuff fine ,but you don't need to be a skygod to know this is not a good idea for students or newbie's (like myself) and i was blown away by this approach. talking about line dump was only an example. my message is ,students and newbies ask before trying different things with your gear . and i havent stayed alive this long by being driven by an ego, if thats the way i came across i will say i'm sorry i didnt mean to offend anyone
  15. i cracked a couple ribs skiing it hurt like hell, after a week or so it seemed to be getting worse so i went to my dr. (first trip was the e.r). the dr. took a x-ray and told me i had a bruised lung,it shows up on the x-ray like a dark spot he told me most of the pain was the bruise. i've never heard of such a thing and hope it never happens again, just something you might want to ask about
