I an nutshell: Cost are high because there is already huge government invovlement and regulation (such as required to treat illegals and can't turn them in). The fix for to much government is not more government. Healthcare can be provided for cheap and quick if it was a truely free market system. There is nothing wrong with people having to live with the consequences of thier own actions. Its not "fair" to punish me (a hard worker who plans ahead) because of the consequences of others actions/inactions or irresponsibility. By rewarding people and protecting people from the consequences of thier action you provide no incentive for people to work hard and make the right decisions. Still a little long but much shorter than in was.

Thats because the government controls prices in canada which means the companies can't recoup the cost of the research and all the government red tape they had to go through to get the product on the market. They have to recoup the cost some how so they are higher here because prices are not controlled by the government. So you benefit from us paying higher prices or they wouldn't have the money to continue the research and make better meds!

One carrier version will only have short takeoff and landing capability but this will allow it to take off and land on a carrier with extremely high payloads that it couldn't otherwise carry. Full vertical takeoff and landing can be used on small boats which typically can only carry helicopters. They now can carry the F-35 for close support and intercept making the small boats more self sufficient and capable of operating further from carriers or other support. Another full vertical landing and takeoff version can be used for close support and intercept for troops which typically only have helicopters as well. This also allows for quick establishment of an "airbase" at any location such as the front lines meaning immediate response for men on the ground because a runway would not be needed which also makes the airbase harder to locate and destroy. Australia and several european contries will buy variations of the aircraft as well which will not contain the secret and advanced avionics and radars the US version will have. Finally, the aircraft is very stealthy even though it only utilizes a small amount of radar absorbant materials around leading edges and such. This is due to how efficient the shape is in redirect radar away from the source and the lack of seams due to manufacturing meathods used. How stealthy is classified for all stealth aircraft so any info in this area are rough estimates.

In addition, healthcare would actually treat far more people and be far more available that the socialized system which always results in long waits and refusal of treatments due to government debt. If you really want to help people and provide care to as many as possible then get government out which will reduce cost and make people responsible for themselves. Why should I have to work so hard to insure myself just to be punished for being responsible by having to pay for everyone else? Freedom does not mean equal results just equal opportunities. Everyone had the same opportunities to work hard in school and get good grades and work full time while going through college so you have no debt and to get a degree so you could get a job and work hard so you could provide for yourself and wife but if you didn't make that decision and your not in as good a position as I am don't claim its not fair. It actually is fair that you and I reap what we have sown. Its not fair to punish me for working so hard for the vast majority of my life and that is exactly what things like this and tax brackets and such are really about. Its about punish the successful. Its about punishing the people who worked hard or risked all they had to get investors so they could start a company (or fail and litterally loose everything). And yes.....its fair that the children of successful people reap the benefits of thier parents success! I don't even have kids yet but even while in high school I worked hard so I could ultimately provide a good life for my children one day. Why should they be punished for my hard work and success? Its my money and I should be able to do whatever I want with it which mean if I want to spoil my children or if I want to blow it all on skydiving its my money but things like tax brackets, the healthcare bill, and ideas like redistribution of wealth (also known as communism) is about not letting me do what I want with MY money. Thats not freedom and if you want to do whats best for everyone then give them freedom. This is the only "greater good". It is the only way to truly provide for the most people. And if you don't work hard for the first part of your life in school and don't go to college because you don't want to work full time to pay for it and because you didn't think it would help you get anywhere and you don't work hard at your job because you think your entitled to advance because of your age why should you not have to live with the consequences of your actions? How does rewarding people for not working hard and not making the right decisions benefit anyway? Fact is it doesn't. We all understand that we are supposed to reward children for doing good and punish them when they do something bad. We even do it in skydiving! Do you think it would be good if everytime someone pulled low rather than punish them we rewarded them because supposedly wasn't fair? Would people stop pulling low? No soon everyone would be and we would have people dieing all the time and then we would regulate that everyone have AAD's and we would tax the people who jump more, becuase they can afford it, to pay for the AAD's and then we would regulate the manufacturers because its not fair they should make a profit on a life saving device and they couldn't produce enough AAD's for everyone so there would be a 6 month wait for then and you would only get one after you hurt yourself landing in trees due to a low pull, etc. Yet this is exactly the socialized healthcare system as seen in any country with socialized medicine. Its not a solution!

Its just like all the internet travelling services. People prefer to go online and book with a 3rd party website than call the actual hotel. The hotels loose a little on each room booked by the site but they get far more bookings so they actually make more. Its the same thing.

No website means less people book jumps which means less revinue for the DZ's! Why do you think virtually every company in the world has some website. Even the natural gas compressor manufacturer I work for not only has a website but pays to have it listed on other websites so that more people know of our existance and, as a result, we get more business which offsets the cost significantly. I favor the Darwinian theory of survival of the fittest. If you are not intelligent enough to figure out your own healthcare system then your existence weakens the gene pool. I would still be in a stinky little apartment had I not and if the risk didn't pay off and I got sick I am the only one responsible and I have to live with it! But it did and they don't want me to be able to make those kinds of decision that was actually better. How do they know what is "best" for everyone. They don't! The only think that is best for everyone is freedom! It makes healthcare more available and better than any other option. You and everyone else pay for it through taxes and government run healthcare introduces more fraud, more refusal of coverage, and higher cost than privatized healthcare (compare medicare to the private industry not to mention the insane things happening in a lot of the european contries). All these things result in less economic growth as well. This is the reason that a cat scan for a dog doesn't require a 6 month wait and cost significantly less that one for a human in canada! Healthcare is more affordable and available to animals than humans because it is privatized and doesn't have miles of government read tape and lawsuit after lawsuit because the doctors aren't God. Why would he say things like that. Why would they force us to buy healthcare and control us? Because they believe we aren't smart enough to know what is best for us so they (the smart ones) must control us and force us to do what they deem is right. We are in thier way so they must lie to get around us because.....they don't think we are smart enough to see thier lies anyways. They believe as long as the result is good it doesn't matter how you get there. However, there is no way to get a good result with bad methods! It simply doesn't work! trickle down economics has been a failure. it has meant the rich getting exponentially richer and leaving the government (us) in huge debt. (remember it was the rich who invented taxation in the first place - time to use their own weapon against them) And what facts do you have for such a statement or is the fact that it worked so well for reagan despite the fact he started with unemployment at 10.8% and it lowering unemployment, causing deflation of the dollar, and all the tax cuts only reduced government revenues from taxes by 1%. In 2006 the top 20 percent of income earners paid almost 70 percent of all federal taxes. In addition, it is the "super-rich" who higher and pay people so if you want people to have jobs, (which equals more people to tax and more goods being exchanged and more taxes on goods ect, then you should tax the rich less. If you tax the rich more then they have to let people go and raise prices and there are less people to buy the good meaning less people to tax and less taxes on goods and more people on welfare and unemployement putting the government into further debt because the "super-rich" can't higher more people becuase the government taxes them so much.

Except... no. Evolution is just what happens. By accepting evolution you're not buying into any moral code, you're just recognising reality. Saying otherwise is like saying if you believe in gravity you must think it is immoral to go up. Not to get into evolution verse creation thing and the supposed "science" of evolution but, yes, by accepting evolution you are not accepting a moral code....why? because there is no morality. The only law is survival of the fittest. Morals are contrary to this idea. Keeping the people with genes for cancer alive to spead it is contrary to evolution. Keeping the metally retarded around is contrary. To help someone weaker than you is contrary as you are more fit so evolution demands you not help or you are fighting against "reality". If you are the most fit then why can't you murder, that is what has gotten us to be the most advanced species is because we could kill all the others! The death camps are logical what evolution requires for the human race to advance. You must clean the gene pool just as you do in race horses. Its no different. We are all just animals and if you can kill an animal then you can kill eachother.....its what will cause the advancement of our race and lets face it......if the end result is to advance our species so there are no more retarded people or cancer or desease then its a good thing. So why should your tax dollars be used to cut me out of a car and not my insurance or my money? Why should my tax dollars be used to rescue you from the bottom of a canyon you base jumped into? The point is that other people shouldn't pay (though the government) for your or my mistakes and choices. You know there are some places that make people pay for the rescue in cases where its deemed neglegant. People like to spend others money. Why have insurance when the government (other people) will pay for you to get cut out of your vehicle and you will get full medical treatment because the government requires you be treated. Why be responsible and make your house payments and not get into to much debt when the government will just pay the difference on your house? I won't ever drink by the way, and the possibility of taking my or someone else life is large enough consequenses for me to not drink and drive....or drink at all. And yes, I would never murder no matter what the law say just like I will never drink much less drink and drive. But not everyone agrees with me and shouldn't have to. So some people decided that if they murder someone the payoff is worth it because they get a "free gym membership", a warm place to sleep with clean sheets, don't have to work, and get free meals for a couple of years.....their life was in shambles anyways. But on the other hand when someone defends our country and kills someone while doing that they are convicted because information was kept out of the court and is sentenced for 20 years. This is the problem!

Interestingly, for those who don't know, hitler got his ideas for such things as the camps from the united states and eugenics. People deemed unfit were made sterile by the government and when hitler started doing what he was doing a congressman or senator (forget which one and don't want to look it up so look it up yourself) said that germany was beating the US at its own game! When many were put on trial for the camps they cited the united states to show the hippocracy in prosecuting them.
