  4. sweet! Wish you guys well and hope that Tod and Kristi are taking good care of you. Who is the team made of other than yourself, justin, and robert? Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
  5. I am an air conditioning contractor and I approve this message! No, really I am. Billeisele, i quoted you but am directing toward BV, you already know this stuff. Also remember that the Feds are still offering up to $1500 in tax credits for qualifying new systems. 16 SEER and up with an EER of 13 and up for regular ac systems and 15 SEER with 12.5 EER and 8.5 HSPF or higher. If the person you are dealing with can't tell you what all that means, throw them out of your house. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
  6. Hell Billy, YOU posted in one of the other threads about it!! Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
  7. For skydiving, Temple is a little north of Austin and they are currently running a pac750. I don't know if they will still have it at the end of March but i believe they will. They also have a portable wind tunnel set up on the dz now too. Not like a full size tunnel but they can be great fun to both participate and watch others. Very friendly vibe there with a great dzo and staff. San Marcos is a little south of Austin and they are currently running a twin otter, caravan, and a 206 (rarely used) San Marcos does do a ton of tandems and i have heard people say they have been bumped off a load for them but i personally in the 8 years i jumped there never had it happen to me. I will tell you that you are more likely to meet and jump with people more easily at temple than san marcos though. I love the place but i have seen how visitors sometimes get lost in the crowd. For sight seeing stuff, Austin is the live music capital of TX (and the world if you ask me) At any given spot down town there will be local artists of any kind of music you could ever think of. Punk to folk, and House music to country. Lots of cool stuff just walking along S. Congress street too, little local artisan shops, restaurants that aren't chains, etc. The botanical gardens are awesome, barton creek is a cool place to hang out and take a dip if the weather is warm enough, or if you are adventurous you could head out to lake travis and hippie hollow for the only legal nude beach in TX The State Capitol building is impressive and very similar to the nations capitol in DC. The TX state history museum is pretty cool too. I would recommend stopping in for a burger at Casino El Camino (not really a casino) too while you are in town, they are down on 6th street but get out of there before 8 or so or else they close the streets and the place fills up with drunk college students in a hurry! If you have any specific questions or other interests just let me know.
  8. Millertime, where are you located? If you ever find yourself in the San Antonio area, you are more than welcome to come shoot any of my Kimbers (9mm and .45)

  13. I hope you are able to reach him. I'm sure communications are down due to the quake. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Thank you, prayers are needed. His flight out of Santiago was scheduled for this morning and that didn't happen obviously He is ok, his hotel is ok, not great, but he is stranded and they are running out of water. He is safe and unhurt and right now that is all i can hope for. Currently working to see if there is anything i can do to help get him out of there. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
  14. My father is in Argentina right now. He flew in to Santiago on Wednesday and we haven't heard from him since. I need to find out how far over the mountains in Arg. he was going. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
  15. Like millertime said, SLC is the closest and it is NOT a one hour drive. I don't remember it taking more than 30 minutes to be in the brew pub in downtown park city! Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
  16. YOU may not jump in winds above 15 but remember that the dz needs to shut down before it is acceptable to be flying that thing anywhere near the landing area.
  17. wow, several of them are no longer with us either Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
  18. I don't know jack shit about boilers but have zoned many central ht/ac systems. Why would you want two separate zones slaved together? On most zone motors (instead of valves) you can run from the stat to term. 1 on one motor and from there to term. 1 on the second motor and have them work together that way. Same with terminals 2 and 3 etc. Most of them can only run about three motors/valves in series without any problems. Is this what you mean? Of course by doing this, you don't need two thermostats, only one. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
  19. Perris is some 50-60 miles inland. That would be the worst spot in all mankind if you get out over the ocean. So you're sayin' if Skreamer is on the load better bump off then? Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
