I guess I just don't think a government is all a country is made of. Don't forget the people, the land, etc. I, personally, have not been to China either. I sure would like to go though. There is rich culture (and I am not talking about currency), and much beauty to be found. I couldn't say what the greatest country in the world is. I do have my favorites though. I love the U.S. because it is home, and it is familiar. One of the most beautiful countries I have been to is Hungary. The coolest culture I encountered was in the Netherlands. I belong to the Church of the Sky as well. I find nothing more soul-satisfying than to get up early Sunday morning and get on that first load. It's wierd, everything seems more beautiful on sunday mornings. I don't think it is necessary to go to a church to know that I believe in God. great. just great. since she started this thread, I think there is a big chance she is still lurking on it...and probably thinking there IS a bare assed skydive picture of me somewhere (which there's not...i hope...). wing: I don't know if there is a trick. My parents just wanted to see what made me smile so much. It took a little coaxing(a lot) the first time, but after that they would just show up at random times (knowing me and my bro would be out there). My mom even came out and watched me do some CReW. eh, I tease her enough anyway myself. No worries there. My parents have both been out to the dz quite a few times... The first time my mom went I biffed on the runway (it was my first time on a transition rig). She decided that I only biffed because I was nervous because she was there, so she said she was going to come out every weekend until I got it right...I got it right the very next weekend... she did. Me and my brother went through the first jump course together. It was a lot of fun to experience that with him. He travels a lot, so we haven't jumped together in a while, but I love jumping with him...We come up with some crazy ideas. I took one of my other brothers on his first static-line this past summer. It was an awesome experience being able to see my older brother squirm like that. It was really cool though to share that experience with him....and he was the best student I have ever had.
